Torn; Chapter Eleven

~Later that day~

"Okay, I will be gone for a while. Sorry I won't be here for dinner, but the studio calls. Behave yourselves," Uncle Simon says, eyeing the boys. He gives us a wave and leaves.

"Dinner!" one of the many maids, I think her name is Layla, calls to us from the doorway. The boys, including their drummer, Josh, all run to the table. I stumble along behind them, having to sit between Harry and Niall.

"Thanks, guys," I say sarcastically to the other three boys. They all mumble a "You're welcome," as they shove the food in their mouths. I begin to scarf down the Fish and Chips.

"So, Madison, why are you here now?" Josh asks. The other boys look as me, curious as well.

"Wait, you five don't know?" I ask, referring to Niall, Harry, Louis, Liam, and Zayn. They shake their heads no. "Okay, well..." I think of the words to say. None come to mind. Only tears flooding my eyes. "My family died in a car accident." Everyone looked down at their food, not wanting to make eye contact with me. I moved my food around with my fork, trying not to let them see me cry.

"I am sorry for asking," Josh said softly.

"No, no. It's okay. It's just really emotional for me. They just died a few days ago. That's why it's hard," I say. They all look at me then at one another. "What?"

"Eat," Zayn commands before reaching for his phone. I did as I was told and ate my food. I was pretty hungry.

"Okay, so what are we going to do?" I asked as we all piled onto the couch after eating.

"Let's watch a movie!!" yells Louis.

"TOY STORY!" Liam shouts.

"INSIDIOUS!" Harry screams.

"Harry, why do you always want to watch scary movies?" Josh asks.

"I am guessing Harry likes scary movies," I infer.

"He sure does. Let's watch the notebook," Niall suggests.

"NO!" everyone, but me, yells. I giggle at their little fuss.

"Okay, let's watch Insidious," I say, agreeing with Harry. I have never seen the movie, so I figured I'd watch it. Harry smiles and gets up to turn it on. Niall sits down beside me. Josh beside him, then Liam beside him. Harry returns to his seat beside me with Louis on the other side of him. The movie begins playing.

Screams throughout the movie, coming from mostly Louis, Josh, and I, are somewhat funny. I hide my face in Niall's chest. He laughed and patted my back.

"You're going to be okay," he assures me. I smile as I sit back up. What an embarrassment.

"Finally!" I scream as the credits come on. Everyone laughs.

"Now, what to do..." Louis says.

"Let's play Truth or Dare!" Harry yells. Everyone agrees. We sit down in a circle on the floor. No lights were on except one little lamp. Harry started the game.

"Louis, Truth or Dare?" he says mischievously.
