Chapter 71: The Fight Begins

a/n: I was planning on having y/n fight with Kaido a little, but does anyone want her to fight LinLin too? There's not much of an opening to fight with her though since Law and Kidd are fighting her. But if you guys want me to I can try fitting in a small fight with them, please give me feedback 🙏

The main area was bustling with excitement, and you noticed how everyone's presences were becoming a bit... static. The samurai and Law's group have entered the island from behind and have encountered Kanjuro.

You were quite sure now was the time when Kaido was about to reveal the alliance between the Beast Pirates and the Big Mom Pirates. Luffy and Yamato were watching one of the screens from the roof, bending a loose wood tile. Robin and Jinbei were below blending in with a bunch of the samurai, and Nami and Carrot were... jumped by Big Mom.

They'd be fine though.

"Oh?" You let out a fake surprised gasp.

"...this place will become a lawless land, a paradise for pirates!" Kaido yelled.

Orochi was betrayed by Kaido, and the realization only struck just now.

While Orochi was causing a fit, raging on how much he's had to go through in the past, Kaido ignored him and made his way towards Momonosuke. After a little while, he dropped his giant club on the floor in front of Momo.

"I see you understand!" Orochi grins, "What we've got to do now.. is kill that brat right...!"

Everyone faces turned into shock as Kaido brought out a sword and sliced Orochi's head clean off.

"We don't need him anymore!" Kaido's voice echoed through the silence.

The one to break the silence was Big Mom, as she started to laugh out loud. Momo stared at Orochi's dead body in shock, still too stunned to speak.

In your head you were planning many different ways this battle could go. What if instead of letting the samurai die on the battlefield, they continue with their lives and survive to see the end? Of course it would take quite the toll on you, since trying to revive hundreds or maybe even thousands of people is still quite the challenge as it doesn't follow the rules of this world.

'who cares at this point.' You groan, already having your mind set on a plan, 'I should check up on the Azakaya Nine when they're in trouble. Can't have them dying on us now can we? Especially one of Ace's crew mate. Ace would probably cry if he saw Izo's dead body...' You sweat drop.

Kaido continue his speech on how they would take over the island and asked— or more like demanded, on which side Orochi's minions would take. Obviously, you doubted any of them would continue to take Orochi's side, as Kaido is more stronger.

'Let's get some front row seats.' You mischievously grin.

"Now choose! Orochi's samurai! Do you want to die alongside your lord Orochi here?! Or conquer the world with us?! I know how you samurai are loyal. I admire even those of you who challenge us!" He started to crush Orochi's chopped off head, "The Land of Wano will change. Along with our new allies, we'll build a new foundation for this world! What are you going to do?!"

The one who used to serve next to Orochi the most, probably his most trusted subordinate too, replied first, "The Land of Wano Ninja Force and Oniwabanshu 5,000 strong! We'd like to serve you!"
