Chapter 37: Saving

Your POV:

I'm so sad. Depressed for many reasons, that I'll rather not think about. Anyways, my friends are all trying to get me out of here and socialize but I'll rather not. I like to be on my own.

I always lock my door so this thing Leo gave me (in case an intruder came in my room) for my birthday, can protect my door. I constantly keep doing that until there was a day where Annabeth got enough and took down the door with Leo's help.

"Y/N!!!" She yelled. I sighed. Now this is where she's going to rant.

"How'd you get here?!" You asked not wanting to be bothered. "You didn't think Leo knows how to take this down?" Leo says, smirking.

You really wanted to punch that smirk off his face but resisted.

"Oh my gods y/n, you look terrible" Annabeth says lying next to me. "Well thanks" I mutter "don't 'well thanks' me!. You haven't been outside for days!" She rants while Leo walks in.

"Oh my gods what happened, y/n?" He responds while twisting his metal wire he always twists around with. "Why do you keep telling me that?!. I'm perfectly fine!" You snapped.

You were actually, not really, you have stopped cutting for the past few days, but you always had massive headaches. "C'mon y/n you used to be a social butterfly!" Annabeth exclaims.

"I used too!. Can we just not talk about this anymore?!" You asked, desperate to be alone "fine" Annabeth said "but only in one condition," she adds on.

I roll my eyes.

But right now, you were desperate so you let her talk. "What?!" You ask, furiously "you have to come out of your cabin!" She says.

"Fine" you say, blankly

Suddenly, Percy comes barging in. "Oh my gods, Percy how'd you come in, you do know the Ares kid have a grudge against you" Annabeth says.

"But they do know I'm y/n friend" he responds
"Anyways, I have a message for you guys" He says as his sea green eyes lands on you "Wait is this y/n room?" He asks "y/n?" He realizes. "what happened to you?, you look-" but right now you were staring daggers at the son of Poseidon that he then stopped talking and begun to talk to Annabeth again.

"Anyways, Annabeth remember 2 months ago, Nico and some other campers went on a quest" he says fixing his glance at his girlfriend. "Yes" she says, understanding what he was saying.

You clearly wasn't, who is Nico? You thought. You only came to Camp Halfblood one month ago and you didn't really understand everything, only the basics and some people.

You were claimed to be a Daughter of Ares (sorry if u don't want too) and so on. Anyways, you then looked at Percy waiting for him to speak more.

"Anyways, Nico and the people he went with got lucky and sent an Iris message, they are stuck in a very deep cave and a lot of monsters are guarding it. Chiron told us and the seven to go but he says we still need one more person to go" he finishes and Annabeth nods while keeping her eyebrows forward.

She was then deep in thought when it suddenly struck her. She then moved her head so she was looking at your direction and did a slight smirk.

"Oh no I'm not!" You yell already knowing what she was going to say. "You are" she responds. Percy then got the hint and looked at Annabeth in confusion.

He then motioned her to go talk to her outside your door. She nods and went with Percy. Percy then closes the door and you and Leo stand there.

You then decided to eavesdropped and put your ear on the hard door. "Eavesdropping huh?" Leo asked, chuckling.

"Shut up!" You whisper while putting your finger on your lips, signaling Leo to keep his mouth quiet. He just smirked and shrugged. He then began to press his ear to the door too. What a dork.

Anyways, you couldn't hear Annabeth and Percy's conversation that much but could tell they were arguing. "But Annabeth she hasn't trained for weeks!" He whispered yelled.

"But Percy any Ares daughter or son is strong. Their father is the God of War! For gods sake! I think she should go!" She argued.

"But she-" He starts to say
"C'mon Percy she hasn't been out of there for days! She needs something to do" she finished.

You were mad of that Son of Poseidon for thinking you couldn't fight in this. Now you were determined to go only to prove that certain Son of Poseidon wrong.

"Fine. You made a point, like always" he mutters the last words. Then you and Leo suddenly took a few steps back since they were coming.

Then Annabeth silently opened the door. "Ok y/n grab your weapon we're going to save some Demigod ass!" She says, with a big planted smile on her face.
