Chapter 50: The Unthinkable Ending

Previously:

"No y/n" "oh don't 'oh y/n' me!. Your always in your dad castle! We've been together for 10 months Nico don't tell me that never meant anything! Just shut u-" You replied but never finished. You want to know why?, he- he slapped you.

"Never talk to me again!, Di Angelo!" She yelled, tears falling down her eyes.

I never meant this to happen!. Her crying pained me. "Y- y/n!" I called after her. I need to tell her soon.

"Y/n what's wrong!" He
(Percy) asked worried. Tears flew down your eyes.

"Nico slapped me."

"JUST STOP!" You yelled going into between the two. You then summoned the water to go back.

The skeletons went back into the ground along with the water. "Y/n!" Nico said. You glared at him. "Why didn't I call this off" You said looking at the ground before looking at Nico again.

"Please don't y/n. I love you too much to lose you. I never wasn't there for you because I was busy working on this." He said as he bend down on one knee.

Oh my gods, why?!

Your eyes widen, "Will you marry me?, y/n l/n" He asked. Those words slipping out. "I- I-"

Your POV:

"I- I" You stutter still extremely shocked at Nico was doing.

He hit you y/n.

But didn't he explain why he was never with you?

You then closed your eyes, you made your decision.
"I do" You say. Everyone gasped, Nico's eyes widen, everyone did actually.

Especially, Percy. And not only did his eyes widen, his fist clenched too. "But y/n how could you, he he hit you!!!" Percy yelled.

"And that's why there's also one more thing he's going to have to do" You say as you look at Nico. He's face looked extremely shocked but still waited for you to say what he needs to do.

"He needs to regain my trust, and it's going to be hard" You finish. Nico looked down but nodded, (and whispered "anything")

"Fine." Percy growled and walked up to Nico. He then whispered something into his ear and left.

Nico's POV:

I need to cheer y/n up, I need to cheer y/n up. I repeat in my head.

I love y/n, I really do, and I also regret not spending time with her. Of course, she would think I'm not putting effort in this relationship.

Percy then walked up to me and leaned towards my ear. I slowly made a grip on my sword, "Put your sword down" He said slowly in a very stern voice.

"All I need to tell you is that if this dare happens again, or that your not spending time with her, I will kick your ass" He treats as he then walks away.

I didn't realize but I was shivering a little. He's voice was scary.

"What did he tell you?" Y/n asked seeing if Percy wasn't here and then asked me. "N- nothing" I say as I then hold her. "I love you y/n, I'm so sorry" I say smelling the amazing and beautiful scent she had, the smell of the fruit in camp.

"I know." She whispers. Unfortunately, she let go of me. Piper then came and called all the campers to go back to their cabins, they obeyed since she used a bit of charmspeak in her voice.

Y/n looked at the campers leaving with a worried expression. "I just need you to regain my trust again, Nico, ok? I just feel a little bit unsafe in your arms" She said.

A bit of my heart broke, no almost all of it but I held back tears. I then looked at the ground, "I'm sorry y/n" "but thanks for giving me a second chance" I thank.

She nodded, "No matter what, Nico. My heart still loves you" She says as she slightly smiles and goes of somewhere.

A few tears trailed down my cheeks. 'Stop crying, Nico. She gave you a second chance so do what you need to to gain that beauty's trust'.

3 Months Later (Your POV)

Nico have been trying to gain my trust and I must admit, it was slowly getting there. I love Nico. But next time that happens I will not stand it.

I shook my head but I felt a finger tap my shoulder. I turn around and there I meet a pair of brown eyes, Nico's.

"Ready for our date?" He asks. "Sure" You reply. He then take your hand and shadow travels you somewhere.

Then you saw that you were somewhere. You look up and see that your in the
Eiffel Tower.

You gasp, "I always wanted this to be our place where I propose but unfortunately that was crossed of my list" Nico says.

Tears were forming in the corner of your eyes.
"Oh Nico" you say "I'm sorry" You apologize. "That's okay, I'm the idiot who hit your poor face, you do not know how many times I regret that. Anyways, I also knew that this was one of your favorite places" He says his hands in his pocket.

"You remember? I thought you forgot" You ask. "Of course, we've been together for 10 months almost a year, and throughout that time I learned many things about you, wonderful things about you y/n" He says looking at you with his brown orbs.

The light shining his pale face, making the color of his brown orbs shine out.

You sighed, you then placed your hand on his chest. Nico's eyes widen, "y/n?"
"Nico I love you too much. And I think you do too. No I know you do too" You say as he slowly nods, a bit of hope in his eyes.

"Of course" Nico whispers.
"You gained my trust" You slip out the words that you held back for weeks.

All of a sudden, You feel a pair of warm lips press again yours. You look up and saw Nico's eyes closed, you did too and fell into the kiss.

Unfortunately, you two needed something called oxygen and broke up. (Your lips though)

"That was amazing y/n, I've been waiting so long to do that" Nico says looking at you. You smile.

Then, you needed to head back to camp. "Nico" You say "yes?" He asks "why didn't you ever take me to Mc. Donalds?" You joke.

He then looks at you with a 'really?' look in his eyes, you giggle as you two then shadow traveled out of there.
