After a long hiatus Four announces they're restarting BFB, and with a twist: The readers will be able to vote, ask, dare, and challenge the contestants! 64 people, one prize.
But... not all is as it seems, is it?
Join in on this "Ask or Dare" book...
Sorry for the second author's note in a row, but it doesn't feel right to upload this to my ramblings book. There's a little ADFB 31 update somewhere near the end if you're interested
Now, how do I even begin this?

Ask or Dare for a BFDI, not counting art books and counting delisted stories, is the 30th ever #bfdi story to reach 100 thousand reads
If we don't count crackfics and oneshot books, it's the 16th
16th... That is so insane to me, there are over 8.5 thousand stories published with the #bfdi hashtag, and mine is among the big leagues (as big leagues get for bfdi fanfictions, at least...)
I honestly find it hard to wrap my mind around that statistic, though it makes sense; I've been here since 2019, my story had a lot of time to grow, and it really feels like I made an impact? I guess?
A lot of the appeal that comes with writing this story for me is that people read it, this wouldn't mean anything if I hadn't seen all of your comments and reactions as you read through the storylines I came up with, and as silly as it might seem, I think Ask or Dare for a BFDI is the greatest achievement in my entire life
It feels weird to call the act of writing a half-finished BFDI fanfiction the single greatest thing you've ever achieved, especially knowing it had such a rough start, but I can't come up with anything that took me nearly as much effort and/or commitment...
This book means the world to me, I learned things I thought I'd never be into, I never thought I'd be intro writing, I never thought I'd be into drawing, I never thought I'd be into graphic design, I never thought I'd even animate a single tween... but this book pushed me to try my hardest, you've all raised my stakes, and chapter 29 and 30 is not only the culmination of everything I've learned, but also an important achievement in my life, as corny as that might sound... and to think this is just a hobby!
There's so much more I'd like to say, but I feel I should omit, at least for now... maybe if we hit 200 thousand reads? :)
Thank you all so much for reading ADFB, from the first to the 100,000th, it truly wouldn't have gotten this far without y'all!
And I have some individual thank-yous as well:
Jacknjellify, for creating BFDI, especially Cary Huang, one of my biggest inspirations, but also Satomi Hinatsu for being my favorite writer the crew's ever had
IceMintFreeze, for being my biggest inspiration as a writer, Supernova roped me into fanfiction, and I really admire everything you've done.
Mom, you don't even know of the existence of this book, you probably don't even know writing is one of my hobbies, but if you did, you'd probably be proud of me even if it's just english fanfiction, that's just the way you are, it's just that I'm a little embarrassed to tell people irl that I do this!
