Chapter 28 Happiness Excitement and Anger

~Third Person's POV~

After 30 minutes, the winner of the competition is finally decided. The 5 female candidates are back in the stage, all nervous about the results. Mirajane went back up to the stage and started.

"First of all, we want the 5 of you to know that each of you did a very, very good performamce. But unfortunately, only one could have the title and be this generation's Fairy Princess!" Mirajane first said. "I will be saying first the eliminated females, and leave the last 2 candidates. And the first one to be eliminated is..." Mirajane started.

There was a heavy atmosphere everywhere, the people were anxious of the result. "The first one to be eliminated is; Lisanna Straus, Congratulations for reaching this stage, dear sis. But you're the first one to be out" Mirajane said. Lisanna just gave a smile and said it was okay and she had plenty of fun and went down the stage.

"The second one is... Juvua Lockser, sorry Juvia, but now's not the time for you to get Gray as your Prince" Mirajane said with a sweat drop. Juvia sulked first but eventually smiled and said it was ok, and went back down the stage.

"The third one is... Cana Alberona, sorry Cana, you're the third one to be eliminated" Mirajane said. Cana just smiled and said she'd try again the next time and followed the girls down the stage.

"And now... We have 2 stunning ladies left, but only one could have the title. The female's name that I'd be calling is the one to be declared as this era's Fairy Princess!! And that female is, non other than-..!"

~Your POV~

'O-Oh... I... I didn't...' I was cut off of my thoughts when Mira continues to speak.

"Congratulations, our dear Maiden Wizard!! You are the one to be titled as; The Fairy Princess of this Generation's Magic Guild Parade!!" Mirajane continued.

{You were thinking earlier 'I didn't lose..'}

I managed to speak with my shocked state, "I..I won?" I asked Mirajane with widened eyes and agape mouth. She chuckled as she handed me a bouquet of roses. "How cute... Yes, you won, (Y/N)" she answered, murmuring the first part.

I gulped down the shock and smiled back. I faced the audience, "Thank you!!" I said and gave a 90° bow. Once I straightened up again, I gave out a very bright smile while the people continued to chant my name.

Aftermath, I went down the stage and again, the Nakahara sisters engulfed me in a bear hug, continuously saying "We knew you'd win!"

I smiled at them, "it's because of the three of you helping me out. I don't know what i'd do without you three" I said. Naru patted my back, "don't worry! If there's any occasion you need help with, just call us, and we'll be there to help!" She said, followed by agreeing smiles from Mika and Aiko.

I said 'thank you' again and the other girls came and gave me hugs and 'congratulations'. I noticed Lucy was kinda down though, "sorry Lucy" I muttered when she hugged me. "Nah, its okay!" She smiled as she broke apart the hug. I smiled back and nodded.

Suddenly, "(Y/N)!/(Y/N)-San! We knew you'd win!!" Three voices said in sync. And when I was just turning to face them, they jumped to me with a hug which caused me to loose balance and us 4 falling down.

I smiled at them and patted Wendy and Happy's head. "You guys are really energetic" I said with a chuckle. The two of them smiled and I felt a hug from behind.

"Congratulations, (Y/N)" I heard Natsu mutter while hugging me. I nodded slightly and smiled. "Thanks.." I answered. Wendy and Happy hugged me again and then a flash lit up. But this time, it wasn't Happy's.

"Aww~ what a cute family picture!" We heard other three voices cooed. I feel my face turn beet red as we stand up from the floor. The Sisters smiled teasingly at me and laughed.

"You guys are so cute!" Aiko said while laughing at us. I was about to say something when Mirajane's voice interrupted me, "Thank You everyone, for coming here to watch the contest for our Fairy Princess! And now that we have our Fairy Princess, we would like everyone to expect a happy and exciting parade next week! Thank You everyone! Goodbye!!" She said through the speakers.

"Well, our job here is done. We will be heading back to our shop. If you need any help with the dresses, don't hesitate to visit us!" Mika said as they started packing their supplies used.

We did one last group hug and bid our goodbyes. 'I'm gonna miss those three.." I thought to myself as they exited the guild, as well as the towns' people. "Congratulations Ms. (Y/N)!" People that I came across to said, a say a small thanks with a smile.
Before closing the guild doors, I hear some citizens say "the smiling and cheerful Maiden Wizard is really great!" A lady said. "Yeah, she changed so much, the first time I saw her, she really seemed very mysterious" the next one said.

As I walked back to my team's table, I had a smile on my face. 'Yes, I did change..' I thought. "Oh, the new Princess is here!" My team chanted as they sent me smiles.

'I changed because these people I call my family, showed me the world's beauty once again..'

~Lucy's POV~

"Congratulations, our dear Maiden Wizard!! You are the one to be titled as; The Fairy Princess of this Generation's Magic Guild Parade!!"

That scene flashed in my memory again. It has already been an hour since the contest finished and I went home early. I can't believe she has to be the one to win in everything!

It's always, '(Y/N) this, (Y/N) that' why is she always hogging the spot light!? I did my best.. But I still lost. What's with her that she kept on getting everything!? Tell me what is it!?

{Uhm let's see, first; she isn't one to betray her friends -.-}

~Third Person's POV~

After everyone settled everything, it is now time for (Y/N) to pick her Prince for the parade. They have noticed Lucy's absence but Mirajane said that Lucy went home early because she was tired after the contest.

And now, its the time to pick. "Ok, may I call on (Y/N) to step forward please?" Makarov said as (Y/N) stood up from her seat and walk towards Makarov. "Of course you already know, right dear? So, who's the lucky guy?" Makarov asked.

(Y/N) smiled and faces the crowd. She saw Natsu smiling at her, being sure that he'll be picked. But (Y/N) decided to play a bit. She pretend to look around, searching, which made Natsu pout. {Ohh. Imagine how cute is that!}

(Y/N) chuckled, satisfied of her boyfriend's reaction. "Of course, it's Natsu" she answered and the people cheered. She went back to her seat and laughed at Natsu's expression. "I thought you'd choose another person" Natsu said.

(Y/N) smirked teasingly and leaned her head on her fisted palms. "Oh, you want to me to choose others? Gray is handsome too, you know" she teased. Natsu went from shocked to angry and to a 'lmao are you serious?' Look.

Natsu laughed. "Bwuahahaha! That snowcone!? Handsome!? Hahaha-..!" Natsu exclaimed but got cut off when he earned a punch in the head by Gray. "What's your problem, Ice Princess!?" Natsu exclaimed with flaming eyes.

"Nothing, just felt like hitting you, coal brain" Gray answered and walked away. Natsu was about to stand up when Erza sent him a glare witch stopped the pink haired dragon slayer and sat back down.

"Sigh..you two will never change" Happy said with a sigh. "Yeah, and you'll never get Carla" Natsu answered back. Happy dramatically gasped and flied up. "You meanie!" He said and flied to (Y/N)'s head.

"Break up with him." Hapy straightly said. Which made (Y/N) and the other girls laugh while Natsu with an angry and shocked expression.

That day was so full of Happiness, Excitement, and Anger.

{Happiness= You. Excitement= People. Anger= the jealous girl -.-}
