After going back downstairs and telling the rest of them how Will wasn't feeling well they all agreed that we should wait to open presents. Lucas was a bit reluctant to wait but understood that it wouldn't be a nice thing to open presents without his uncle. Henry and James were left to keep him occupied for the time being while Vivien had Katherine, Samantha, and I working in the kitchen with her.

Katherine and Samantha didn't have much in common unless it was the brown hair and stubbornness, but other than that there wasn't much to go on. It's not until they're looking down at all the items that were spread out on the counters that they shared a look of confusion. Vivien put Katherine in charge of peeling the potatoes, carrots, turnips, and Samantha was pulling apart pieces of bread for the stuffing.

Vivien was chopping up an assortment of vegetables and out of the four of us I had the worse job – cutting up onions. At first it wasn't so bad, but when I started chopping it up into little squares the acid it produced was so strong that my eyes begin to water. Blinking helped for about ten seconds and I had to resist the urge to wipe the tears that were streaming down my cheeks with my hands.

From behind me Samantha laughs, probably because I look like a mess and secondly because at the beginning of making dinner had she complained about how taking apart bread wasn't fun. I try to glare at her but fail as it gets harder to look at her and in seconds I'm running to the sink. It reminds me of how I saw Will earlier; with his head practically in the toilet while here I was, doing almost the exact same thing.

I turn on the tap, cupping my hands under the running water and then splash my face. The water is cold and icy, but with my eyes burning it felt amazing on my skin. When the area around my eyes are just stinging instead of burning I walk back over to the cutting board and scrape the now chopped up onions into a bowl and hand it over to Vivien. She looks at me, shaking her head as she breathes out a laugh.

It's a while later when Vivien shoos Katherine, Samantha, and I out of the kitchen. I had heard her say something about us only getting in her way, and the three of us weren't really complaining about getting out of the kitchen. Katherine and Samantha went back into the living room, where the Henry, James, and Lucas were all watching a movie on the TV.

I contemplate about joining them, having mixed feelings. But when my phone vibrates in the pocket of my sweater and I dig out and see that I've gotten a text message from Will I turn on my heel and begin running up the stairs. Skipping two at a time made the journey to the second floor a whole lot faster.

I'm standing in front of the bedroom door in a matter of seconds and when I open it I find a Will laying on the edge of the bed, a large bowl at his side, and the TV playing on low volume. Walking to him, his head turns at the sound of my footsteps padding against the floor and a small smile tugs at his lips.

"How're you feeling?" I ask once I'm at his side, my head bent as I take my head and place it lightly on his forehead. It's warm and when I take a closer look at his face its tinged pink.

He shrugs, tiredly. "The puking has stopped, but my stomach hurts."

My eyebrows scrunch together, "Where?"

His lips purse in thought and then he grabs my hand and guides it to where his stomach hurts. It's down in his lower abdomen, near where his gallbladder or liver should be. He raises an eyebrow in question, wondering if I got what he was trying to say and I nod.
