"August you're not going to college!"I exclaimed as I sat up from his bed.

"Nah"He shook his head while continuing to sketch something in journal.

"August really? College is important"I started. "It determines what you wanna be when you grow up. It's an amazing experience"

"So?"He shrugged still not paying attention to me.

"That means were gonna be apart August" I softly spoke while staring at the back of his head. "You know I hate long distance"

"Let's just not think of that"He bluntly said.

I rolled my eyes and stood up from the bed. I slipped on my shoes and began to pack up all my homework.

"I gotta go"I mumbled and stood up.

"Bye"He non-interestedly said still not giving me the time of day. I gave him a quick peck on the cheek.

I walked out his room and to the front door. I opened it and walked over to my house. I took out my key an unlocked the door and went upstairs to my room.

"She is a handful"Courtney sighed while looking at the sleeping Piper next to her.

I nodded in agreement.

"Thank you for watching her"
