I peeled my eyes open to see a blue eyed woman looking at me, her eyes holding concern. I tried getting up, but the minute I sat up the world was spinning. She calmed me down and helped me to the bed. She then sighed and sat down, she opened a water bottle and helped me drink it.

"You need to drink water, it will help you." she whispered, twisting the cap back on.

I watched her with alertness, fear eating away at me as she placed the bottle on the ground. When she looked back at me she frowned. "You don't have to be afraid of me." she stated.

I swallowed, "Who are you?"

She smiled warmly, "Name is Whitney."

"So, you're the one helping me?"

She nodded quietly.

"Why?"

She sighed, "It's a long story, but I am willing to tell you. If you don't want to hear it, then you don't have to."

"No...I want to hear it."

She nodded, "I haven't always lived in this pack, I used to be part of a pack in Delaware. My old pack was murdered by a large group of rogues so my parents brought me here, we were quickly accepted into the pack. My aunt was the female Gamma at the time, so the Alpha was more than glad to welcome us. After a few weeks I met a handsome boy who is now the Alpha, I know you know him."

I nodded, urging her to continue.

She took a deep breath, "We've grown closer and started dating in high school. I made a promise to him that I would become his Luna if I didn't meet my mate or he didn't meet his. Well, I found out that you were his mate only a day after you were captured. I told Hades that he needs to accept you, but he brushed me off and told me that he rejected you. I didn't agree with his actions, I'm actually beyond angry at him for what he did.

So, I spent the next few days trying to convince him to accept you. Hades is such a stubborn guy, but he does have a reason as to why he isn't accepting you. It's not that he's not attracted to you, in fact, I caught him talking to his Beta and saying how beautiful you were. Hades was always close to his parents, they treated him like a little prince and he treated them with his up most respect. He treats his whole pack with respect, even the Omegas. He believes we're all equal, but he does demand for us to listen to his orders and to not start little civil wars within the pack. Which we don't, we're a pretty close pack.

His parents were murdered by a large group of the rogues, the same group that murdered my home pack. Along with his parents, my parents and aunt died as well. I do hate rogues, but only the one who cause harm. I know you wouldn't cause any of us harm, you don't have that evil glint in your eyes."

I frowned, "I'm not truly a rogue...well...I guess I was the minute I left my pack, but...I had to."

My voice cracked at the end which resulted in Whitney giving me a sympathetic look. She sighed, "Two nights ago I met my mate, the soon-to-be Alpha of the Blue Moon pack. I explained my situation to him and he agreed that if Hades doesn't accept you, then you can join his pack with me."

"You're not going to stay with Hades?"

She shook her head, "I can't. I don't love him, my love for him faded over the past few years but this pack needs a Luna. However, that Luna will not be me, but hopefully you."

"He'll never accept me." I scoffed.

She frowned, "Something happened that night we were attacked, something only he saw. He loathes rogues now, no matter their age or what they have done. Well, if it's a rogue child then he'll find them a home. He's not completely heartless as you would think, he does have a heart. He's just...closed off and traumatized from something. I have no idea on how to convince him."

I took in all of this new information, so Hades doesn't hate me for me, he hates me because he thinks I'm a rogue. Technically, I am, but I wasn't officially exiled from my pack. I'm more of a lone wolf, someone who wasn't officially exiled from the pack.

A rogue is a wolf who exiled from their pack, an Alpha will send out a message to all surrounding packs, telling them a full description of this new rogue. He or she will explain to them why the rogue was exiled to ensure the safety of others. A wolf who leaves a pack, but the Alpha doesn't officially exile them is called a lone wolf. Packs usually accept us more easily than a rogue who has done something horrible to be exiled.

I then looked up, "I'm not a rogue." I whispered.

She frowned, "What?"

"I wasn't exiled from my pack, I left because of...what they did to me and my father and sister." I explained. "I'm a lone wolf; I would have left his territory but as you know, my whole right side was broken bones."

She grinned, "Maybe that will convince him, what pack did you come from? My cousin said you smelled of Blood Rose pack."

I nodded, "I came from there, I'm the Alpha's youngest daughter."

Her eyes widened with shock, "You're an Alpha?"

"Yes."

"Well, that changes everything. I mean, in terms for Hades. Why did you leave?"

I stayed silent for a moment, unsure of if I should tell her or not. I sighed, deciding to just get it off my chest. "When I was eight, my mother left us. I have no idea why, but my father blamed me. He sent my older sister to a neighboring pack while he began my abuse. He somehow convinced her to hate my guts and my pack hated me as well, blaming me for their Luna leaving. For ten years all they did was abuse me, sometimes I would black out from all of it.

My first mate, Andrew, even rejected me because of it. I...I...that's why it hurt for Hades to reject me. If my two mates rejected me, then who in the world would ever love me? I have no idea what I did to deserve this, I don't even remember telling my mother anything that caused her to leave." I ranted, tears rolling down my cheeks.

Whitney watched me with horrified yet sorrow filled eyes, she suddenly pulled me into a hug. "I am so sorry." she whispered. "I'm trying, I really am."

I clung onto her, sobbing into her shoulder as she calmed me down. After a while we parted and I wiped my tears, suddenly a questioned popped up in my mind.

"How come I...feel that pain at night?" I asked.

She sighed, "Because you're not near Hades and because of the rejection. I don't know everything, but your second chance mate is different from your first. Usually, if your second mate rejects you...you die."

I paled, so I'm going to die because my second hates what he thinks I am. Great.
