I sat quietly in the room while Hades went to greet Elvira. My wolf and I were on edge, listening in case she decided to attack him. I know he's an Alpha male and should be able to handle himself, but I still need to protect him. As Alpha female, it's my job to protect my mate and help guide the pack. Yet, I can't do that when he's all alone and I'm up here.
I was beyond worried that she would do something. The message we left for her wasn't pretty and it included her daughter. I closed my eyes and shook my head, I still remember what we did. But for some odd reason Jade had agreed to it. Saying she'll be free to make her own choices.
I don't know what she meant, but Hades said something about Jade's wolf being feral.
There's two type of feral werewolves in the supernatural world. The first is the human side lost their mate or pack and no longer wanted to feel any emotion. They no longer wanted to be a human. So, they give into their wolf side and become full wolf. No human instinct, no emotions, nothing. They just rely on pure instinct.
The second is the wolf side is stronger than the human side. Usually, we're in a complete balance. But the wolf side refuses to be equal or accept the human side, so they take advantage. They're very strong, but also sadistic. The only thing they love is to kill, eat, sleep, and have sex all the time.
If Jade's mother knew of her daughter having a feral wolf side she could easily take control of her daughter. It's weird, it's like having some sort of identity disorder except for werewolves. It's not exactly that, but they have two complete different personalities. The human personality that is rarely seen and then the wolf's. Sadistic, evil, and feral.
I shook my head, I've been trying to figure out more about the ones like Jade. I'm naturally curious like that.
I was brought out of my train of thoughts when I heard someone chuckle. I looked up to see two men smirking at me.
When I caught of a whiff of their scent I growled.
"Awe, is the little Luna getting scared?" The man teased.
Scared? What the hell is he thinking?
"Oh, I'll show him what it's like to be truly scared." My wolf sneered.
I swallowed, "Not yet." I told her.

The men slowly walked forward with a glint in their eyes. My wolf was begging to be free, but I held her back. I can't shift yet, not until they're tired enough. After all, I can't let my wolf have all the fun.
They lunged at me at the same time, but of course I already expected that. I easily dodged them and grabbed the one by the leg.
With ease, I swung him into the second man. They both slammed into the wall, causing a huge crack. I then grabbed the one on top and threw him even further away. I grinned as he hit the railing and crashed through them. I didn't bother to see how hard he landed on the ground downstairs, I was too busy with the other guy.
He tried grabbing me, but I dodged him again. I then swiped my leg under him and caused him to fall.
He groaned in pain as his face slammed into the marble flooring. When he looked up his nose was crooked and his face was covered in blood. I glanced at the floor, frowning at the crack in the marble.
Didn't think I slammed him down that hard. I heard his growl as he lunged at me, this time clawing my cheek.
I yelped, but continued to strike at him. I shifted last minute, and using all of my weight, slammed him into the wall. I could hear the crack of his ribs as my wolf and I continued to press against him.
He let out a scream before falling to the ground, shaking pathetically.
I turned around and ran towards the stairs. I looked down to see the second man still laying on the ground, his neck bent in an awkward away.
I swallowed the bile that rose in my throat and backed away. I killed someone. I killed him.
I was completely stunned and didn't see the man behind me. I howled in pain as a sharp pain flowed through my back leg. I spun around quickly, causing the knife to cut through my leg until it was out.
The man grinned with his crooked nose and broken ribs. The bloody knife was still in his hands as a look of triumph showed on his features. I shifted back, ignoring the pain. Without any hesitation I grabbed him by the throat and flipped him over the broken railing. With a thump he hit the ground, crying out in agony.
I winced and fell to the ground as my leg gave out. I glanced at my thigh and clenched my jaw.
It looked like someone tried to cut my leg off through my thigh. My heart was pounding as I cried out. I allowed my pain through the mate-bond so I could alert Hades. However, he was already running up the stairs.
A loud growl erupted from him as he turned around.
"Jackson, get every warrior and grab Elvira before she escapes." He ordered.
Jackson nodded and ran out of the pack house. Hades gently picked me up, apologizing as I whimpered.
He kept kissing my forehead, stroking my cheek that wasn't clawed, and whispering soothing words.
My vision became blurry from the hot tears as they pooled into my eyes. The adrenaline started to slowly leave my body, allowing the pain to become stronger and stronger.
By the time we reached the infirmary I was going into shock.
The pack doctor wasted no time in finding me a bed. I looked over as nurses had to shove Hades out.
"I love you, Celina." Hades' voice echoed in my head as I drowned in the darkness.
