Well, the run did start off great until we got into an argument. We were sitting at this lake when I finally decided to just ask him. What his father's Beta did to him.
He kept telling me he didn't want to tell me, that he would have to relive the pain. I tried reassuring him that I would help him, but then he suddenly just snapped. He didn't hit me or anything, but kept spitting out hateful words.
I stormed away from him, anger boiling within me. He didn't follow, he only stood there looking shocked. I know what I said was beyond hurtful, but at the moment I didn't care. I couldn't. My heart was hurting from what he had told me, my rage has blinded me to whatever he was feeling.
I was halfway back to the pack house when I sighed and stopped walking. I turned around to find him missing. I frowned, is he still standing there?
I froze with panic as a rogue's howl echoed through the air. I quickly shifted and sprinted through the trees. My muscles ached as I pounded my paws onto the ground.
I skidded to stop as I saw Hades yelling at a man. The man yelled something back and Hades flinched. I could see him giving up as he hung his head.
"Not even your mate can fully love you! You're worthless, Hades." The man continued to spat.
I growled lowly before running and jumping between them. I laid my ears flat and bared my teeth at the man.
His eyes widened in shock as he stared at me.
"You're actually protecting him?" He gasped.
I growled louder, confirming his question. He blinked a few times, "You're a fool then, girl. He's not worth it. How could you love someone like him?" He scoffed.
I glanced at Hades to see so much hurt in his eyes. I nuzzled my head on his side before glaring at the man.
He shook his head before turning, "You're making a mistake, Luna. You're going to see just how unwanted he is. When you don't want him yourself."
With that he shifted into his wolf and ran away. I shifted back, ignoring the fact I was naked. I turned to see a very quiet Hades. He seemed withdrawn as he stood there, not even acknowledging me. I gently cupped his face and kissed his lips.
"I will always want you, Hades." I whispered.
He shook his head before shoving me away. "He's right, I'm unwanted." He shifted and ran away.
I froze, deeply confused by this whole issue. I shook my head and followed his scent. I am not losing him.

A/N: Thank you for the support guys 💙 My friend was severely depressed and...yeah. Writing this chapter was hard, Hades' sorrow reminded me of my friend, but they do not have a connection.
Hades' character is naturally like this.
But thank you again for the support. Love you guys.
