She looked in the mirror and saw the eyes of a wolf staring back at her. In her chest beat the heart of a lioness on the prowl. Her hands were like talons that gripped what it wanted and never let go. The words she would mumble in the presence of you came from a mouth that would roar for the protection of loved ones. Her lungs filled themselves on the same air that supplied life to nearly all of earth's creatures.
You set out to tame her, but never once considered that she couldn't be controlled. You want to break something you do not understand because you never once had the thought to see what defines her.
