Vic POV

I was headed to the university when my phone rang. I looked across my radio but didn't recognize the number. It rang two more times and then I finally answered.

"Hello?"

"Hello Victoria," I heard the deep voice say.

"This is Alexander, how are you?"

I was literally surprised. My temperature was rising and I had to close my legs. I cleared my throat.

"Did I catch you at a bad time?"

"Ah...well..."

"I was in town to see a client and I was hoping we could grab some lunch. My treat. I have a flight leaving tonight but I really wanted to see you. Actually it's not related to the Foundation. Just two people having lunch."

"I had an errand to run."

"Well could it wait? I really want to see you. I miss you."

Why did I want to believe him but I was sure it was just a ploy? My mind was telling me to run but my body was ready for some afternoon action.

"Where are you? I can have a driver pick you up."

"It's probably easier for me to come to you."

"How about we meet at Flemings on Corporate?"

"I'm not that far from there."

"I'm actually pulling up now, I will go in and get a table."

"Okay. I can be there in ten minutes."

"Great. I'm looking forward to seeing you."

We hung up and I turned my car around and headed to the restaurant.

An hour later I was following him into his hotel suite.

"No panic attacks today," I said jokingly.

"You can't sue a man for being in the presence of a beautiful woman."

"If I didn't know any better, I would think you're flirting with me."

"Is is working?"

I turned my face and he laughed. He walked over and sat next to me.

"Come to New York with me. I have a client to see there but I really want to spend some time with you. You can stay at my place."

"I can't just hop on a plane and leave with you. I have responsibilities here."

"You can work on the plane."

"I have a daughter that I take care of."

"Bring her."

"What?"

"We can take her to the zoo, the beach whatever you want to do."

I laughed.

"I'm serious. You can come back Sunday, I'll even fly you back myself."

"Look Alexander, I think we should..." He cut me off.

"I really like you Victoria. What is wrong with me wanting to spend time with you and your daughter?"

"I don't know you that well."

"Well this is the perfect opportunity to get to know me. I promised I will shower, brush my teeth and behave like a perfect gentleman. All you have to do is say yes. It's only three days what do you have to lose?"

My sanity and my body.

"All you have to do is say yes and we can leave within the hour."
