At Night

Under her blanket was her safe little town
At least there, no one would bring her down

She turns off the light and tries to sleep
But she cannot, she was trying not to weep

She goes to her bathroom and grabs a scissor
Should she do it? It would end her terror

Slowly by slowly she draws a line
She said to her self, it's okay, it's fine

The pain is just small as a mosquito bite
Compared to the words that kept her at night

She puts down the scissor and ran back to her bed
Couldn't keep the voices outside of her head

Everybody gets the dream that they want
While she gets these nightmares that went on for a month

Tomorrow she wakes up and looks at the sores
"I'll cover them with sleeves!" She said and closed the doors
