A Best Friend's Special Day

You were there when I was alone
You were there to help me be strong
Pictures of us are saved on my phone
You always knew when something was wrong

My dearest and loved, my dear best friend
This poem is written for your special day
I hope our friendship would never ever end
I wish we'll be together, in every step of the way

In your life, another year was added
Dear, I wish, that there will be more
All those memories, right where we started
Is the evidence of what real best friends are for

Friend, from you, I wish one little thing
I wish that I'll forever be your friend
I wish that I'll still be your everything
Right from the beginning until the very end

Now, before I get too emotional
I have to end this, to say what I'll say
Friend, I'll be there whenever you'll call
So, now, I wish you a HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
