Treasures (Poetry Book Number Two)

A Memory

Your beautiful eyes that once caught me
Your meaningful smile that once touched my heart
I still remember the way you loved me
You made me love you too in every single part

For days and weeks I thought about you
Boy, you never seem to leave my mind
I still remember all our memories together
Especially the one when you left me behind

You once said that I was your everything
And I believed it! Every single word
But you also once said that you never loved me
I kept on throwing back what I heard

What you said to me left me broken
It left me crying so hard, all alone
You once showed me how great you were
But you also showed me that your heart was a stone

Now, I need to tell you I still think of you
About you and me sitting on a tree
Life was sure great when you said you loved me
But all of those are now just a forgotten memory

Hey! I miss writing about, HIM. My first few poems were about him, and now, I decided to write about him again. Atleast now it didn't hurt like before.
