It's Been Two Years

It's been two years
Time flies so fast
Who touched my heart?
Boy, you were the last

Your handprint on my heart
Is sadly still visible
I wish this could all end
Like a short, happy fable

But look at me now
I'm still badly wounded
The pain that you struck
Was never healed and mended

I still think about you
You and your sparkling eyes
But deep down inside them
Is your voice full of lies

It's been two years
Why can't I move on?
Why am I still crying
For the moment that you were gone?

Here I am in grief
And there you laugh like a kid
I guess you never ever
Loved me as I did
