Not Your True Princess

You asked me to be finally yours
I hesitated because I was afraid
I had to be careful, of course
But you were impatient, you couldn't wait

Should I give in or should I say no?
My mind is spinning on what to do
You made me fall, you just didn't know
I was afraid that I'll get tricked by you

I thought about you every night
What would happen If I say yes?
But still I thought, what if I'm right?
That I'm just a rebound from your true princess?

I asked for advices from people around
They all said your words were true
They said your love is seldom to be found
But what if there was something they didn't knew?

Each day and week that passed us by
I learned to love you after all
I said to myself, "You're the guy!
Maybe you won't treat me like a doll"

But just when you had a spot on my heart
Everything started to go wrong
It's like you forgot what you said from the start
It's like you were asleep all along

Boom! Breaking news, you left me hanging
You chose her over me, like I thought
Wow, you both had me believing
I can't believe your lies had been bought

You said sorry for all the things you've done
But, as expected, she only told you so
Are you really sorry, or it's just for fun
Or just to give her a spectacular show?

Congratulations! My heart has been wrecked
You won the game you started
Are you happy? Pleased? Obsessed?
You now left me brokenhearted

Hey guys! Wow! #17 on poetry? Thank you! Now how high can we get this book at? *winks*
