I Fell In Love

I used to see some sweet couples
And I would scoff and roll my eye
Funny at how I was so bitter
And how I said, "We'll all still die"

I used to ask myself each day
"Is love really worth the pain?"
I was innocent, I didn't know
I thought love was for the insane

Now I look at my reflection
I had learned so many things
In love, it's true, there are some risks
But we're all just human beings

We try to believe in what we want
In love, we believe that it is worth it
I used to say, "how pathetic!"
But now, I listen to my own heartbeat

The feeling was vague and new to me
A new member to the old club
I once had despised this whole idea
But now, I'll say, I fell in love

Definitely for Valentine's Day ;)

Who had been this bitter? *raises hand*

But, no. Right now I'm not inlove. Just another lonely person this Valentine's Day.
