Chapter 26 - Throwbacks

Violetta's POV

My classes are all finished now. I walked out of my class. Just then Leon approached me.

"Hey"

"Hello!" I said

"What's up?"

"Another day is done!" I said happily

"Yeah, that's right and I was wondering, would you like to go with me on a walk?"

"A walk? At the park you mean?" I asked him

"Yes. So, would you like to go with me?"

"No" I said and he looked down. He looked hurt and sad.

"I'd love to, Leon" I said and his face lit up smiling at me.

I returned the smile

"I'm glad you are" He said

"So, are we going?" I asked

"Yeah, come on"

I smiled to him and we walked together outside.

We were at a park now.

There was a silence between us, but not an awkward, a comfortable one.

Leon led me to a bench that looked really familiar...

"This is my favourite place" he said and we sat on the bench

"Really?"

"Yes, it makes me feel like my life is complete, even if it isn't"

"Don't say that!" I said

"It's true"

Wait, was this bench the bench he led me a long time ago?

"Do you remember?" He asked me

"Is it this Leon?"

"Yes, it is"

FLASHBACK

We walked to a park and Leon took me to his favourite place. We sat on a bench.

"Leon this place is amazing"

"I know, I come here to think and forget my problems"

"Like?"

"Hmmm...Ludmila is the biggest"

"Am I problem?"

"Of course not!"

"Then what am I?"

"Hmmm...you are a very beautiful girl, kind, who always helps his friends, sweet and of course amazing"

"How can you prove it?"

"You want proof?"

"Yes"

Then he started to lean in. I leaned in too. Our faces were so close when...

"Beep beep" My phone rang

END OF FLASHBACK

"It was the time we almost kissed
How could I ever forget Leon?"

"I don't know..."

"Come on, you know I will remember that forever"

"Ok fine I do"

"That moment was amazing. It felt magical Leon"

"I know. I can still live that moment again, everytime I come here"

"You come?"

"Of course I do" He said

"That's so sweet. You don't want to forget"
