Annie's POV
I walked along with the two soldiers from the survey corps and showed them my room.
"This is my dorm room that I share with two other cadets. It seems like they're not here right now, though."
The two soldiers smiled at me.
"It's fine...Annie."
All of a sudden, I felt a twinge in my head. My expression might've showed that I was hurt, because as soon as I felt this, sharp, agonizing pain their smiles quickly vanished and their expression turned to concern.
Both of them rushed to my side as I held my head."Annie...are you okay?!"
I swallowed.
"I'm fi-"
Suddenly, the pain in my head increased.
"Annie? Annie?!...Annie!..."
Annie...
I held my hands over to my ears.
Annie...
I looked up at Gunther to see him saying something to Eld.
I didn't hear a word, nor a sound.
Only his lips moving.
Eld nodded and ran away.
Annie...
Gunther turned to me and held me as he spoke, yet I still couldn't hear a thing.
Annie...
He started to shake me as I looked up to him with wary eyes.
Is he really my enemy?
I looked away as tears threatened to spill from my eyes.
Please...stop!
Then all of a sudden, everything disappeared.
I felt my body go numb as my eyelids felt droopy.
Then I drifted off.
Everything drifted off.
All but my dad's voice.
All but his warning.
