Till The End

I needed some Sam and Dean brotherly moments cause Sam is under appreciated in a lot of my oneshots.

"Family don't end in blood boy"

Bobby singers words were etched into deans mind as he looked at his little brother and realized how much they sacrificed for each other. They drove down the road, returning from the weird play about them and he remembered the director girls words about his "Samulet"

"You should never have thrown it away"

It was true he didn't need a necklace to show that his brother was his best friend and partner. But more importantly he was family.

Sammy had been there. Through thick and thin, when Dean was a demon, and even when Dean had tricked him, Sam had let him back in. Family sure as hell didn't end in blood. But for him and Sam their family waded through all the blood to save each other.

On the other side of the car Sam glanced at Dean. The past few weeks had been hard, hell, it had been hard since Dean had gone to hell. But seeing them now, after so much had happened made Sam feel grateful that they were still together. Sure they had hunted alone but it wasn't the same without someone to watch your back. He remembered when Dean had said "look I know we've had our disagreements! Hell I know I've said some things to make you walk, but Sammy! Don't you dare think that there is anything past or present that I would put in front of you!"

He knew that no matter what happened next, they would be there for each other until the end.

As if sensing the others thoughts they looked at each other and gave the famed "Winchester smirk".

"Hey... No chick flick moments but, I'm glad we're still hunting together after all that's happened Sammy."

"I was just thinking the same thing Dean"

As they looked out at the open road again they both murmured the same thing

"Because we're family until the end"

And they still are.
