     I listened to every word A.J. said to her dad. I lean my head on the exit door, still hearing.

"Hey listener!" Curtis exclaims.

I jump, since he scares me.

"What is it Curtis?" I ask.

"Nothing? What are you doing?" He questions.

"Not much..."

"Liar!- Are you spying on A.J. and Iron Man?"

"No!"

He smiles. Oh man... He found out.

"You like A.J.!" He teases.

"No I don't!"

"Liar, liar, pants on fire! If you didn't, you would care so much!"

"Curtis, don't tell anyone! If you do, I swear, I'll-"

"Can't! My dad is here! So ha-ha!"

Of course, my dad and Nikki came at the wrong time.

"So, you have a crush on A.J.?" Dad asks, crossing his arms and raising an eyebrow with a smirk.

"No! I don't! I swear!" I lie, to keep myself from being embarrassed.

"You're lying Ethan! When A.J. passed out from an allergic reaction to nuts, you wanted to give her mouth to mouth." Nikki replies.

"Stop it!"

"And you wouldn't buy A.J. her own bow and arrow, because you wanted to teach her with yours, and you like putting an arm around her hips a lot."

I roll my eyes, now hating Nikki even more, since can be a pain in my side.

"Why don't you ask her out on a date?" Dad suggests.

"Wait- you approve?" I ask.

"Of course I do! Her dad's a millionaire, so bring home some money if you marry her, please?"

I shrug, shocked he approves.
