Chapter 12

Marcus's POV
(Thursday)
The kiss I had been awaiting for 347 years had finally happened, it was better than I could have ever imagine. From what others had told me I knew it would be amazing but this, this was better than amazing it was indescribable. No words could even begin to compare to the feeling this kiss gave me. It was almost impossible pulling myself away from her. If I hadn't stopped she would have lost her virginity in my classroom and I didn't want that. I wanted to make it special for her. She was now my world, my life, my everything.

The more time I spend time with her, the more I think of her, and the more I touch her the more I fall deeper in love with her. I want to feel every inch of her body, memorize ever part. I know in time I will. Thank god for my good self control or this would be a lot more difficult.

I was very pleased that she rejected that guy, if I wasn't his teacher I would do some major damage to him for flirting or even thinking of my girl. I know she is hesitant about going on the date with me due to that I am her teacher but I'm going to tell her when we go out that she is more important to me than some job, I'm already well off it's not like I need the money. Which is why I plan on giving her, well her mom, money for all the debt she has to pay off. I will not allow such a simple thing that I can easily fix cause her pain.

This date will finally allow me to get to know everything about her, her fears, her hobbies, nightmare, dreams, favorite food, color, just everything I can get out of her.

On my way home I get a call from Caden "hello"

"Hello sire, when will you be back at your house?"

"Soon, I just left school"

"Good we have a meeting with five vampires; one family, and two male vampires who need your permission to cross the border"

"Right, I forgot about that, well I should be home soon. Meet me there, then we can go to the border"

"Sounds good" he said and I hang up the phone placing it next to me, hopefully I can concentrate even though all I can think about is Rose. I can still feel her legs wrapped around me tight, I can still taste her on my lips and still feel her warmth, best of all I still smell her addicting scent.

Caden as usual is propped against my house waiting for me, when he sees me pull up the driveway he kicks him self off the wall and walks over to my car "good afternoon" he says getting in

"Hey, did you call Lucia?" I asked

"She said she would meet us there" he informs me

Lucia is the witches daughter that cast the spell on the border in the first place. Her mother past away about eighty years ago, if any vampire crosses the border without Lucia lifting the spell they burn to death immediately. Witches age almost the same as humans but they live longer and age better, so when a witch is ninety they look forty. They age normally until they reach twenty that's when there aging slows down, they usually die around one fifty sometimes later it depends on the powerfulness of the witch. Lucia is very powerful, she's 110 but looks like she's in her early fifties. She's the one who lifts the spell for the vampires so that they, if we allow them to, may cross.
