Chapter 58

My mind starts to awaken from sleep as I feel Roses eyes on me. I grin, my eyes still closed, I pull her closer to my body and then open my eyes, looking down at her. Her eyes widen in shock at being caught "it's not nice to stare" I tell her smiling

Her face turn red and she try's to turn away from me "oh no you don't" I say and pull her back crashing my mouth to her sweet perfect lips

I hug her body,holding the small of her back, centering our hips "good morning" she giggles

"Morning" I tell her staring down at my beauty

"How did it go last night?" She asks, her eye curious

I sigh "not as good as it could have gone" I tell her and thankful I know she won't ask what I did

"Did you...is he..?" She trails off, her eyes leaving mine

I chuckle "no not yet, I had five vampires last night try to see if they could get anymore information, all me, Caden, and Harry got was the name of the other male vampire, hopefully they got more" I tell her and she nods soaking up every word I say

"But you're ok right?" She asks looking over my body for some reason her worried eyes scanning my body turns me on more than it should

"Yes I'm fine...now the other vampire is a different story" I say and the corner of her lips turn up a little

"I'm sure you'll get something" she tells me and I kiss her forehead, hoping she's right

"When Caden and Harry get here I'm going to have to question him again and see if the five got anything" I say and her face instantly falls with a deep frown

"I'll miss you" she says and I frown with her

I sense her emotions even though she tried to block me out, she's not strong enough yet. She's lonely and she wants to stay with me, at least she understands why she can't.

"I know, but I have an idea" I say, our mind link is practically effortless and it seems so easy, she lifts her head to look at me and her forehead creases in question "how about you visit your mom?" I ask, this time out loud

A big smile replaces her frown and she nods like the idea hadn't occurred to her "I'll get Harry to come with you" I tell her even though I would prefer someone else, but Harry will have to do

"Ok! I don't know way I didn't think about that" she says shaking her head

"Just be careful and let me know if anything happens the moment it happens understand?" I instruct, she roles her eyes and sits up on her knees, saluting me. The sun leaking in through the windows shines against her face making her appear as if she just stepped down from heaven

I reach out for her, laughing, as I pull her down on the bed, I straddle her and tickle her stomach as she thrashes under me, breathlessly laughing. "Stop stop!" She yells her face glowing with a smile as she hits at my arms

I lean down and kiss her cheek climbing off of her. She continues to laugh, holding her stomach. I watch her propping myself on my elbow. She sticks her tongue out at me "It's not nice to stare" she mocks and I chuckle

I continue to stare as she looks up at the ceilings and closes her eyes, taking a deep breath "it's so funny to think the life you thought you would have never turns out to be what really happens" she pauses for a long moment "but I couldn't picture my life being any different...I wouldn't want it to be" she rolls over on her side and looks up at me, a small smile on her lips and her eyes bright with love
