It's pretty bad when half of the problems I'm having could be solved simply by my parents being nicer to me. I love my parents don't get me wrong, but when your mother makes you feel like shit half the time and and your father is a critic there has to be somewhere to draw the line. They complain about my attitude towards them yet they way they speak to me is just as bad. You want me to have a better attitude? Then you need to as well. You're my parents, which means you're my role models in life.

Now if I had the guts to actually say that to them...

But I know they love me. It'd just be nice if they showed it more often. I'm not talking about buying stuff for me. I just want to spend time with them. Isn't that what families do? Spend time with each other? But that's only how things are about half of the time. The other half is I guess what you could call normal.

My mother, Christine, is the type of person who does whatever she wants. And then there's me who has to endure it without question. Heaven forbid I go against her word. NEWS FLASH. I'm a human being. Not some verbal punching bag.

When things don't go my moms way she get irritated. My my father, Jon, gets a bit more than irritated. Sometimes he flat out throws a tantrum. A few of said tantrums have resulted in a couple holes in the wall or door, a broken TV, broken keyboard, broken mouse, and other things. One day he was getting on me about how all I do is sit around playing games, and what's he doing? Sitting around playing a game. So in a good natured way I replied with something along the lines of "well you can talk". So he starts pouting. Even my mom backed me up saying that he joked with me so I joked back.

Later that day I find the post on Facebook, "there. no more game. deleted"
