Lies Can Tell More Than The Truth

I've been lied to. I've been used. I've been betrayed. I've been made a fool of.

People think I don't notice. But I study people very closely. I know when something isn't right. Also, it's incredibly easy for me to learn things when people seem to forget that their "conversation" is on the internet for everyone to see. If that was the intention, then whatever. That doesn't change the fact that I've been lied to.

I hate being lied to. Lying to me will make me lose trust in a person very quickly. Some lies are definitely worse than others. But ya know what's bad? Lying to me about friendship. A person makes me feel like they like me, trust me, and I do the same for them. Then they take all that and shove it down my throat. That will instantly change my perspective of them.

You'd think it couldn't get any worse, but yes it can. What's worse is the fact that they wouldn't tell me. Rather I have to find out by the internet, by laying low and just keeping an eye on activity. That is being secretive and deceitful towards me. What else is being kept from me? What else do I need to know before I find out the hard way?

Why can't people just straight up tell me the truth???

I rarely lie, so why am I being lied to? News flash. I notice. I play dumb-blonde to keep trouble from stirring up. But I know all the tricks in the book. I know when someone is attempting to play me like a fool. So spare us all the trouble and just tell me what I need to know.

I am not judgmental. But lying to me will very quickly change that.
