"You flip the pancake like this"
Brooke was standing next to me in the kitchen.

Today was her birthday and her cocky attitude was sure to ruin the presents everyone got her, especially mine.

"I'll flip the pancake how I wish"
I nudged her playfully.

"Just watch you'll flip them too early or you'll end up breaking them"
She tossed a goldfish in her mouth.

I flipped her off and guided the spatula under the fried dough and flipped it. The grease sizzling as it cooked the other side.

"See , that's how you do it children"
I smirked at her.

"That's how everyone messes up, you prove somebodies point first time, and think you'll never mess it up but just you wait, you won't be so cocky when you go to flip the next one"
She argued.

"If you don't be nice to me I'm not giving you a birthday present"
I turned to her, sitting on a barstool across from her on the island.

"You better give me my presents"
She stopped chewing her goldfish.

I shook my head
"Never"

"I'll tell your girlfriend your being mean to me"

"She's not here, she went to pick up her sister"

"I've never met her sister"
Brooke stood to check on the pancake I had in the skillet.

"Her name is Georgia, she likes books, she may come off as shy, but be nice too her"

She put her hands up surrendering.
"Chill, your talking to me like I'm going to bully her"

"I'm just telling you what she's like is all"
I shrugged.

Minutes later the front door opened and I heard Reagan and Georgia sharing a laugh about something.

It was about time we bring laughter into our home after the last two weeks have been mainly silent.

"Hey"
Reagan smiled at me and Brooke.

She walked over to me and kissed me sweetly.

"Uhh Brooke, this is my sister Georgia"

"H-hi"
Brooke stared at her.

"Hey"
Georgia smiled the same intoxicating smile that Reagan seemed too have.

I spun around and flipped the next pancake perfectly once again.

"Not cocky, just proficient"
I pointed, stealing a goldfish.

Brooke furrowed her brows and pulled the bag closer to her.

"Happy birthday"
Reagan smiled at Brooke.

"Oh, and Katie here said she wasn't going to give me any presents"
Brooke tried to start a play argument.

"How dare you deny the girl of presents, the presents Katie!"
Reagan laughed.
She came behind me on the barstool and wrapped her arms around my shoulders.

"See"
Brooke smirked.

"I heard you stole a car though, so that could be it"
Georgia snapped in.

Brooke blushed and glanced up at Georgia.
"Ye-yeah I did, but that was almost a month ago."

"Your not getting your present until tonight, when you get the other ones"
I argued.

I pulled the last pancake from the skillet and gave her the requested breakfast she wanted.
"Cam gets breakfast when she's hurting you can have breakfast on your birthday"

"When do I get breakfast?"
Reagan smiled.

"Anytime you want"
I blushed.

I turned off the stove and sat in the same seat and waited for the rest of the house to wake up.
Cameron came first with her belly, then Leah, and lastly Kyle.

"Happy birthday sis"
He ruffled her hair.

"You guys, I'm officially done with my project, so no more 6 am bullshit"
He pulled the orange juice from the fridge and drank it from the gallon.

"That was for screw drivers tonight"
Leah argued.

"Who drinks screwdrivers?"
He made a disgusting face.

"I do, there not bad"
I looked at him.

"Jäger bombs"
He pointed.

"That's where it's at"

I watched Georgia come over to her sister.
"Hey, where can I go put my bag?"

I turned to her.
"Go put it in my room, there's a shower and a TV if you feel like hanging out by yourself for a little while"
I smiled.

She held up a huge book and smiled
"I'm currently lost in a different world right now"

"Of course"
I smiled.

Reagan smiled at me and then turned to her sister as she walked out of the kitchen and up the stairs.

Brooke's eyes followed her too.
