Twenty-two

Amber quickly put her phone away because she was scared if anyone would see that text message.

Amber POV

That was so unexpected from Soo. How can she keep it to herself for years? She is so strong, seeing her crush with her own friend together everyday. I bet she put all her thoughts away by eating.

Out if the blue, we heard a car horn. Obviously it's them, "let's go help them." Sooyoung said as she tap her puffy face, worried if they finds out that she cried. We both walk out of door then suddenly someone pushes out of the way, it was Yul.

"Yah, what wrong?" Sooyoung asked but Yul didn't bother to answer her. She just kept stomping into the house. The two of us ignored her and went to the truck. When we walk toward the truck, Seohyun, Yoona and Hyoyeon was busy carrying the grocery bags. Jessica was inside the dirver seat and Krystal was at the door.

"What happened?" We both stop Sunny.

"Yul and Sica quarreled. Go talk to them." We nod, we walk slowly toward the two Jungs. The driver seat door was open, Krystal was standing outside. Krystal saw we were coming she sigh and gave way for us.

Sica was holding onto the steering, sobbing. Krystal didn't know what to do, she just stood there doing nothing but stare at her sister.

"Sica?" Soo softly call her name. Sica look up at Soo and immediately hug her, crying in Soo's neck.

"Soo...." She cried. Sooyoung had her arms around Sica, comforting her. I pull Krystal aside, "What exactly happened?" I hold my head.

"Unnie was roaming through her phone, then she saw Yuri's text message with a guy. And they seems to have something serious between them." Krystal storied.

"Then why is Yul mad?"

"When we were intm the truck. Yul said that Jessica wasn't understanding, always scolding, cold, and she also said that she was tired of unnie." Soo was listening throughout, I knew she was listening. Suddenly, Yul walk out of the big gate with her luggage. As soon as I saw her going out of the gate, I ran as fast as I could go stop her but too bad, a taxi came by when I reach the gate.

"Yul, let's talk! Do go away like that!" I shouted as the taxi drive away. I walk back towards them, Sica was still crying hard on Soo's shoulder.

"Let's go inside, they will come in when Sica's okay." I pull her hand and grab the one last grocery bag in the trunk.

Sooyoung's POV

Amber walk into the house with Krystal leaving me Jessica alone. She is still in my arms, crying hard.

"Sica~~" I rub her back.

"She hates me, Soo." She said in between her tears.

"She will come back." I said into her ears. It hurt me so bad seeing Sica like this. As a friend I can just comfort her and support her, not more than that. I pull away. I held onto her shoulders and stroke her hair back so I could see her face.

Her face was puffy, tears wereflowing non-stop. Using my thumb, I wipe her tears away.

"Hey, princess don't cry like this." I pull her face up to look at me. I smile at her while I arrange her hair. I pull her out of the truck and close the truck door.

She walked in front of me into the house. In the house, everyone was gathering at the dining table. When we step our feet into the house, all of them turn their attention to us. Jessica headed upstairs without even saying a word.

"Is she okay?" Krystal worriedly ask me. I pat her head and nod. I sat at the dining table with them.

"I can't believe Yul did this." I said as I pull my hair back.

"Me too. It happened so sudden in the truck." Seohyun said.

"Girls, lunch is ready." Aunty came with a tray towards the dining table. I look at the clock, its 4 in the afternoon. While aunty was giving out the bowl of rice, I went to the kitchen and took a small tray. I put two bowl on rice on it and I took a big bowl and put some kimchi jjigae that aunty cooked. And a small plate for meat.

"What are you doing?" Aunty came into the kitchen. I turn and smile at her.

"Jessica won't come down and eat. I will go up and eat with her." Aunty pat my shoulders.

"Thanks for the food aunty!" I said as I walk out of the kitchen. As I walk out, the girls look at me with a confused face.

"Where are you going?" Taeyeon asked.

"Eat with Sica!" I said as I walk up the stairs carefully. I took a deep breath before I knock on the door. Silence... I was about to knock again but then the door swung open revealing Sica with Yul's shirt on.

"I don't want to eat." She was about to close the door but I blocked.

"Can you let me eat in your room?" She didn't want to scold, so she just open the door wide so I could come inside. I grin at her, "Thank you."

I put the tray on the floor and sat down. Sica sat opposite me, leaning her back on her bed. "You sure you don't want to eat?" I said as I shove a meat into my mouth. Her eyes followed the meat. I chuckle, I scoop a spoon of rice with kimchi and meat and then brought it to her mouth.

"Eat, I know you are hungry." She open her mouth wide.

"Airplane coming!" I joke around, making her chuckle. After I fed her a few spoon of rice, she wanted to eat. I hand her the spoon and chopsticks. She immediately dig into her food when she held the chopsticks.

"You made the food look so delicious." She said with her mouth full of food. I smile at her, I saw the last meat on the plate. I took the meat and place it in Sica's bowl.

I finish my bowl of rice and waited for her to finish before I bring the tray down.

She put down her bowl and wipe her mouth. "Done?" I asked. She cutely nod as she held her hand. I walk down the stairs and took a look at the bowls, it was clean. I smile as I walk towards the kitchen.

I was proud of myself that I made her eat a lot when she doesn't want to eat but at the same time I'm upset that I could make her happy. She was obviously sad about Yul leaving her like that. Even when she laugh just now, I know it was just a fake laughter.
