Chapter 16 Part 2

Jace Pov

 Well today is the day it's finally New Years Eve and Emily and I are getting ready to go see the ball drop at midnight. I was wearing dark jeans as always with and back shirt and blue button up with a jacket, a hat, mittens, and a scarf because let me tell you it is freezing in New York. I heard the door open and saw Emily walk out in white converse, and a blue dress with stars and her hair was perfectly curled and her makeup was gorgeous even though she doesn't need it.I smiled in her direction and she walked towards me.

"Hello beautiful you are looking gorgeous as always" I said putting my hands on her waist pulling her closer.

"Why thank you and you are looking mighty fine as always" she said pecking my lips.

"Hey wanna sneak peek at our new years kiss?" I asked cheekily.

"Give me a behind the scenes look" she said giggly

I leaned in and planted my lips on hers and when I felt her kiss back I couldn't help but smile as this lucky girl being all mine. I felt her smile too therefore I pulled her closer and sat on the bed pulling her onto my lap. Her arms snaked around my neck as I deepened the kiss, she pulled away and smiled.

"How's that for a behind the scenes look" I asked

"Pretty good" she said getting up to get her coat and stuff.

"Can't wait to see the ball drop it's gonna be amazing especially since i'm watching it with the girl I love." I said kissing her cheek.

"I can't wait either babe."She said smiling.

"You ready?"

"With you i'm ready for anything"

We grabbed what we needed and left the hotel room, she got a cab and we drove to time Square it being almost 10 at night.

"You excited?"She turned and asked me

"Yes I am,but i'm more excited to start off this new year with a kiss from you"I smiled

"Hey you get to kiss me anytime" she giggled

"Yes,but I get to start off 2016 with your lips"I said making a point

"But one day you will start off everyday with my lips"she said putting her arms around my neck

"And when that day comes I will have officially completed my life" I smiled kissing her nose

"Uhuh sure you will" she said facing the glowing ball above us

"That's no lie" I put my arms around her waist and whispered in her ear

 ~1 hour and 55 minutes later~

It was officially 5 minutes till midnight and Emily looked like a little kid in candy heaven she was so excited I had to kiss her to calm her down not that i'm complaining I will take any chance to kiss her no matter what.

~5 minutes later~

"5...4...3..2..1" 

I leaned in and kissed my beautiful girlfriend my hands at her cheeks with the fireworks in the background and noise makers and shouting it was the perfect new years and I was with the love of my life for it.

~ Two days Later~

Emily Pov

Well we had a fun time here in NYC,but sadly it was time to go.

"You all ready"Jace asked

"yeah let's hit the airport and get home and start our business lives again" I said getting my bags

"Hey don't worry the work won't get in between us okay it never has and never will" he said

"That's what you say now" I said walking out of the room and to the elevator.

 We got in the cab and drove to the airport,  payed the driver,and got our bags.

After security, and ticket ladies we finally made it to the plane and sat in our seats.

 As soon as we got home Jace got a text from his mom saying to go to my house because they were out. We walked up to my door and walked in.

"SURPRISE!!!!" 

"Welcome home guys" Sean said

"Welcome back"R5 told us

"I'm glad you're back"Our moms said

 We hugged everyone and enjoyed the party. 

"Babe you haven't talked to me since we left the hotel what is wrong?" Jace asked follwing me to the backyard

"Nothing i'm fine it's just we had a great time in NYC together and now we have jobs to do and I feel like the trip brought us closer then ever and now we are gonna drift apart" I said

"Baby don't worry we won't I promise you know why...because my family and my girlfriend comes before anything else okay you are like family now and one day you will be my family cause we will be married with kids and a big house and a great life" he told me

"Okay...i'm sorry for being such a baby I guess i;m tired from the flight and stuff didn't sleep much last night" I said

"I get it babe I got worried too now the party is over so why don't we go get changed and stuff and go to my house and watch movies and you can sleepover" He suggested

"Sounds amazing but I can't have to go work with R5 in the morning so they can record some songs and then the producer wants to try to get me to work with Shawn Mendes since the R5 album is done and maybe get me in the studio to check out my voice" I said

"Damn baby you busy already"

"I know i'm sorry i promise tomorrow after all that i'm all yours and we can have a sleepover"

"I can't because the next day I have an audition for a new movie" he said

"We will find a day one day" I said

"YEah sure we will I gotta go bae i'll text you" he said

"OKay bye" he pecked my lips and left.

I went upstairs,showered, put on some shorts and a tank top my hair in a messy bun, took out my contacts and put on my glasses. I was about to lay down when I got a text from Jace.

Jaceybear: NIght princess sleep tight

Emmy:NIght prince love you

Jaceybear:Love you too

 I plugged in my phone and layed down and sleep my mind drift away to dream land.
