Vic POV

Do you know what I hate more than being home alone with my feelings? Being home alone with my feelings, tied up to a chair, legs duct-taped together, like what the fuck?

“dios o poderoso(God o’ mighty)” I mumbled. The robber left the area. Hell he didn’t even take much. All he took as 300 dollars.

Big whoop.

Megan bust the door down and saw me.

“Vic!” she ran to me. “What happened?”

“mierda!(bullshit)” I snapped. “mudo ladrón hace saber cómo a robar!!! (dumb robber doesn’t know how to rob)” I spat. She laughs, unties me, and rips the duct tape off my legs. Whenever I’m pissed, I let out my anger by speaking Spanish. “¡ay caramba.(Oh gosh)” I cry out. She gives me the look and I translate to English.

“So, someone barges in my room and throws me in a chair. Ties me up and threatens to kill you. And your daughter. Goes through my phone calls and texts you. Realizing who I am, he freaks out, steals 300 dollars from me and runs away!” I throw the chair and flipping my  hands up in the air.

“I can get you 300 dollars.” She  point out.

“It’s not that. how dare he threatens to kill you and your daughter, who the fuck does he think he is!” I kick, the chair, breaking it. Her phone rings and she answer it.

“Megan are you ok?!?!” a frantic Kellin yells.

“I’m fine. Somebody threaten to kill us and robbed Vic. I’m coming home now.” You could hear him as he exhales a breath he must’ve been holding since he called.

“Love you too.” She hung up and sighed.

Kellin POV

I lay on the bed with Audry.

“What?” she gives me this empty stare. “What?” she sits and still stared at me. “What?” I lean in until my nose meets hers. Then she farts. “Ew.” I laugh. I go grab a diaper and come back and change her. When Megan came back from helping Vic, I wanted to go over wedding ideas.

“Do you want to be a flower girl at momma’s wedding?” Audry looked at me. She smiled and then dozed off. Just then the door opened and Megan flopped on the bed next to Audry.

“Took the motorcycle?” I asked, trying not to show my anger.

“I thought someone was going to kill the guys and,” she took out her phone and showed me the text. “I thought they we’re serious.” She sighed. I lay next to her and turned on the TV to MTV. Next thing, I feel shivers on my right arm. She had her finger tracing my tattoo’s.

“What if I got a tattoo?” she asked. “Another one.”

“Another one? What’s the one you have now?” she lifts up her shirt and turns around so her back is facing me. On the lower half of her back, right on the small of her back was song lyrics.

Darling, you’ll be okay.

“After the abusing finally stopped, I wanted something to relate to. Because I knew it was over.” I smiled at her. She is my little strong soldier. She snuggled herself in my arms, tracing the tattoo on my chest.

“What tattoo are you going to get?” she looks up at me.

“They say love is forever, your forever is all that I need.”

“Speaking of which, how did you end up staying with me? I mean, most girls I tried to date break up with me after the second. But you stuck around for a third.”

“Because Kellin, I learn something new about you every day. And I love surprises.” I entwine our fingers together.

“Yup. Surprises, surprises. I’m bored.” I groan. She shoots up from the bed, knocking Audry into my arms.

“Let’s get the tattoo now!” she exclaims. She grabs my Anthem shirt from the closet, and a pair of black skinny jeans and biker boots. I’m still on the bed, trying to process, what the fuck is going on? She looks at me.

“Come one Kellin!” I grab the pouch and put Audry in it. She turns around and looks at me weird. “Why are you wearing our baby?”

“To keep up with it, duh.” I roll my eyes and grab the keys to the car. On the drive to Vic’s house, she would not stop bouncing. And Audry wouldn’t stop pressing the horn. When we pulled up, Audry hit the horn again. I got out and walked to the backyard where water was squirted at my face. I wiped the water away, only to be squirted again. When my eye were clear enough to see, I saw Vic with a water gun by the edge of the pool.

“Vic, what are you-” he squirted me again. “Victor-” another squirt.

“Fuenciado!” Jaime ran and tackled Vic, causing both of them to fall into the pool. I set Audry next to Mike who is recording the whole thing. I walk into the house and run into Tony.

“Hey, can you guys watch Audry? Megan wants another tattoo.” Tony laughed.

“So she showed you the tattoo Vic encouraged her to get. Man, I don’t see how you’re cool with discovering their past, bit by bit. If I were you, I would be freaking out by now.”

“Yeah. I am in the inside. But seriously, it’s their past.” Tony nodded, but in the corner of my eye, I saw Tony laughing. When I get in the car, I hear Megan’s laugh.

“Why is your face and hair wet?” she asks as I pull off.

“Vic squirted me with a water gun.” We arrive at the tattoo parlor and I take Megan’s hand as I walk, but she stays frozen on the pavement. “You ok?” I ask. She shakes her head.

“It’s just, haven’t had a tattoo in eight years.” She stomps her feet and shakes her hands.

“How old were you when you and Vic got the tattoo?”

“Vic was 21, I was 17.” Oh yeah. Their four years apart.

Creepy.

I began to tow her.

“It’s going to be fine. It won’t hurt a bit.” I lied.

“You promise?” she looks up at me. I pat her back.

“Yeah, sure.” And we walk into the parlor.

Anthem shirt on the side.
