Chapter 32

Regina

"Papa!" Sophia squeals with delight as he runs over to her and picks her up

"Hello darling" he whisper, tickling her stomach and making her giggle

I see Henry approach the door quietly and I smile at him, gesturing for him to come in. But he stays where he is.

"Sophia, why don't you go with Henry for a bit?" I suggest, wanting some private time with Robin

Henry comes into the room now and smiles at Sophia as her face lights up.

"Henry!" she giggles, wriggling out of Robin's grasp and into his

"Come on let's go!" he smiles, kissing her forehead

"Bye mama!" Sophia yells, making me giggle

Robin waits for the door to close before sitting beside me, kissing my lips softly. I know what he wants to talk about but I'm not sure I want to hear about it.

"I didn't find her" he sighs

"Robin, listen to me, you aren't going to find her with a click of your fingers; it takes time to figure out where she is, how to rescue her and how to get her out safely. It's not going to be done with a flick of your wrist" I point out to him

"I know, that's why I need that locator spell. That will help me find her quickly and everything will be fine" he shrugs

"Robin, I can't do it" I sigh

"Why? Do you not care about my daughter? Do you not care that she's in danger?" he snaps

"Robin of course I do, but that's not it," I argue

"No it is! You haven't been happy about this at all! You don't want me to find her, that's why you haven't been working on the locator spell, you don't want me to find her!" he interrupts me

"Robin! If you haven't noticed I am carrying your child and they need me more than you do right now! I can't use magic, I can't make potions because it will affect them and I could miscarry! And if you had any decency to care you would ask how the baby is doing or how I am because I had and appointment with Snow today!" I snap

He looks at me for a second, his eyes filled with anger, but the anger slowly fades away and he looks away from me.

"You're right" he says after a while

"What?" I frown

"Regina, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have yelled, you need to think about our child and what's best for them, I can find Amelia on my own. How- how is everything?" he says after a while

"I'm bang on six weeks and the baby is perfectly healthy and the morning sickness unfortunately won't go away anytime soon" I explain

"Darling that's wonderful!" he whispers, kissing my lips softly

"I can make a locator spell, but the baby has to be strong enough so I have to be over 12 weeks before I can do it. There's a chance it won't work because my magic isn't strong enough but I'll try okay?" I sigh

"Thank you, Regina" he nods, wrapping his arms around me

"I'm sorry I snapped at you" he whispers, pulling away from me

"Forget about it" I sigh, looking down

"I love you" he whispers, tilting my chin

"I love you too" I whisper back
