5 hours later
Regina
I wake up to find a gentle grip on my hand and my hip throbbing again. Slowly, I turn my head to find Henry smiling weakly at me.
"Hey" I whisper
"Hey mom" he whispers back
"Robin left your painkillers on the table with some water" he adds, handing the pills and the glass with a straw to me
"Thank you" I smile, swallowing the pills and sipping the water from the straw
When I'm finished Henry takes the glass from me and I rest my head back on the pillow, wincing at the pain in my leg and hip.
"How are you feeling?" he asks
"Better I guess, but I'm still in pain" I sigh
"What happened mom?" he asks
" I was working on that locator potion for Robin and I dropped the bottle and the spell backfired and I fell into the glass" I explain
"Ouch" he says
"It did hurt, but I'm glad I blacked out pretty much straight away, to escape the pain" I sigh
"I'm glad you're okay mom, you really scared me" he smiles
"I'm sorry baby" I smile, squeezing his hand lightly
"That doesn't matter now mom" he smiles, squeezing my hand back
"So how's my little brother or sister doing?" he smiles, looking at my stomach
"What are you talking about?" I frown, I haven't told him yet and I wasn't going to for a while
"Mom, I'm not stupid, I remember the symptoms from last time and I asked Robin this morning and he admitted it! And it's pretty obvious because you're starting to show" he laughs
"True" I laugh back
"So how are they?" he asks
"Perfectly fine" I smile, placing a hand on my stomach softly
"Good, I'm glad" he nods
"I'll be glad when you've gone to bed, it's been a long day for you" I sigh
"Okay, goodnight mom" he laughs, kissing my forehead
"Goodnight Henry" I smile back
He's about to head out the door when I stop him
"Henry!" I say
"Yes mom" he replies, turning back around
"Where's Robin?" I ask
"He's putting Roland to bed" he says
"Alright, thank you" I smile
"Night mom!" he says again
"Night" I reply as he exits the room
