Two hours later
Snow
"AHHH! OWW!" Regina screams through another contraction
Regina's been pushing for two hours and nothing's happened, just more and more blood but the baby's heartbeat is steady.
"Ugh! Snow I can't do this anymore!" Regina whines
"Regina, you don't have a choice, we need to get this baby out now or you'll both be at risk. Just one more push for me" I sigh
She starts pushing again and lets out an ear piercing scream as the head starts to crown.
"Regina, just pant for me, don't push" I instruct
"I CAN'T IT BURNS!" she screams
"Regina, look at me, look at me and pant" Cora instructs her
She stares at her mother, pain in her eyes as she squeezes the blood out of her mother's hands.
"Okay Regina the heads out, one more" I sigh
"AHHH!" she screams, pushing with all her might and making Cora flinch
"One more, Regina, one more!" I say again
She pushes one more time and falls back into the pillows as her child slides out of her, the cries of an infant filling the room and making us all breathe a sigh of relief.
"It's a girl, Regina" I declare
But I look to Regina to find a pool of blood surrounding her ankles, her face scrunching up in pain.
"Cora take the baby, now!" I instruct her, handing the small baby into her arms
She takes her from me and places her in Sophia's crib and rushes back over to Regina.
"Snow, what's going on?" she asks, taking her daughters hand
"She's haemorrhaging"
