One year later
Regina
"Regina, are you ready?" Robin calls from the other side of the bathroom door
"Almost" I shout back, quickly combing Grace's hair ready for her birthday
"Okay my little princess, let's go celebrate your birthday!" I coo, making my daughter giggle
I unlock the bathroom door and Robin's face lights up when he sees us.
"You both look amazing!" he smiles, rubbing Grace's cheek and making her giggle
"You don't look too bad yourself, thief" I giggle
"Why thank you milady" he smiles back, bowing his head
"Mama,Papa!" a familiar voice squeals
Both Robin and I turn around to find Amelia holding Sophia's hand as she waddles along slowly. That's the first time I've seen my daughter walk. I crouch down and hold my arms out to catch her, balancing Grace on my hip. Sophia giggles and falls into my arms as I catch her.
"Good girl!" I laugh, tears of happiness running down my face
"Happy birthday Grace!" Amelia giggles, stroking her head softly
"Ami" Grace giggles, not able to say Amelia yet
"Shall we go down to the party?" Henry interrupts, making us all jump
I smile at my son who looks all grown up in his suit and tie and wrap my arms around him tightly, not wanting to let go in case he fades away.
"Mom!" he laughs
"Sorry!" I smile
I hand Grace to him and he instantly starts blowing raspberries on her neck and tickling her stomach, making her laugh hysterically.
"Happy birthday princess!" he coos
"Will you take the kids downstairs, we'll be down in a minute?" I ask Henry
"Of course mom" he nods, gathering up the kids and taking them out of the room, leaving Robin and I alone
He presses his lips onto mine gently, wrapping his arms around my waist.
"Are you alright babe?" he asks, rubbing my cheek
"I need to tell you something" I whisper
"What is it?" he frowns
"I'm pregnant" I whisper
"Really?" he laughs
"Yes" I nod
"Well, this family is just getting bigger and better isn't it?" Robin laughs, kissing my lips
"Are you sure this is what you want?" I ask
"Of course babe, I love you and the kids, another child won't change that" he reassures me
"Good" I smile, kissing his lips again
"Now, let's go down to the party" Robin decides
And with that, he wraps his arms around me and we head down to the kitchen, both of us smiling at our perfect family and the new member on the way...
