Cora
Once Regina is asleep, I quietly slip out of the room with Grace in my arms. She starts to squirm a little but I rock her quickly to stop her from crying, but it doesn't work.
"Hey, hey, shh it's okay" I whisper to her as she cries
She calms down a little as I continue to rock her in my arms, her chocolate brown eyes melting my heart like Regina's do.
"Now let's go and see your daddy" I whisper to her
So I take her downstairs and open the kitchen door to find Robin sat at the table, a cup of tea sat beside him.
"Hello Cora" he smiles weakly, a hint of nerves in his voice
"Hi Robin" I smile back, sitting beside him
"Is Regina alright?" he asks
"She's sore and exhausted but I've given her some painkillers and she's sleeping now" I explain
He nods silently, taking a sip out of his cup
"I bought someone to see you" I smile, handing Grace over to him
He folds her into his arms and rocks her gently, his face lighting up.
"Hello, darling" he coos
I sit down beside him and watch him interact with his daughter. He looks up after a while and smiles weakly.
"Cora, I wanted to apologize for what I did to Regina. I know that Regina and I are alright now but I feel like I owe you an apology" he sighs
"You don't need to apologize to me Robin, as long as you make Regina happy, that's all that matters. But this mission to find your daughter, I didn't see her with you when you came back. Did something happen to her?" I ask
His face drops and tears fill his eyes, something obviously wrong.
"I don't want to talk about it right now" he sighs
"Excuse me" he whispers, exiting the room
