Two hours later
Regina
I wake up to the lights blinding me, the brightness fading as my eyes adjust to it. Someone has a gentle grip on my hand; I recognize the lightness of it as Robin's. What's going on?
Suddenly, I feel a nasty pain in my stomach, making me groan at the discomfort and clutch my stomach in pain.
"Regina? Darling, can you hear me?" I hear Robin ask
I turn my head to face him slowly, trying to remember what happened and why I blacked out. And then I remember, the blood, the pain, everything.
"Robin, where were you?" I ask him, my voice still croaky from sleeping
"I went for a walk" he mumbles
"You went to find your daughter didn't you?" I ask
"Regina, no I," he starts
"Hey, it's okay, I don't mind, I just wish you'd said something first" I reassure him
"I know, I'm sorry, how are you feeling?" he asks
"My stomach hurts" I moan
I watch his face drop, tears shimmering in his eyes. Something isn't right and I know it's something to do with me, something happened while I was out and I want to know what it is.
"Robin? What's wrong?" I ask
"Regina, I need to tell you something" he whispers
"What is it?" I ask, panicking a little
"When you started bleeding and when you were screaming in pain, it was because you miscarried one of the babies"
