I stood there unable to move. I can’t believe I told him, and Sarah had to blurt out that she worked at a foster care. I kept one hand on the wall to keep me steady because I was feeling a little dizzy. He knew about my parents and that was one of the main things I was trying to hide from him.

I took slow breaths and glanced over at all of them. They were all in a group and Alex was telling all of them. No, don’t tell them! Why was he doing that?

I sat down there with my back leaning against the wall and I was sitting criss cross apple sauce as they would say in kindergarten.

I saw Austin glaring at me. Why were they so mad?! My parents are dead for goodness sakes! So what if you just told me your parents were dead? I would feel sorry for you not be MAD at you! I mean what did they want me to do?! Just shout out “Oh ya my parents died a while ago but don’t worry it’s no biggie!” Well I wasn’t going to say that. Suddenly, I was mad at them too.

Austin walked over to me.

“We’re going home,” he said in disgust and walked out with everyone following him, and I had no choice but to follow. It kills me to think he paid for us to have this much fun but because he is just a bad sport he is canceling it. I bit my lip and slowly stood up and walked slowly out the door holding my right arm in my left hand.

We walked to our cars and sat in the same order but no one talked this time. I sat next to Alex again. I put my knees up to my face and stared out the window avoiding everyone’s gaze. Soon I would be home… and soon I could see the picture and the Gameboy.

I grabbed my backpack and ran inside the house and up to my room. I didn’t want to talk to anyone right now. I went over to my nightstand and looked at the picture of my family. When we were all together and a happy family. I didn’t want to be here with people who hate me. I wanted to be with my family, with the people who love me more than anything.

But this was reality and nothing good happens to me in reality.

My phone rang. I looked at the caller ID. It was Georgia. I answered right away.

“Hey did you break them up?” Georgia beamed.

“Yeah, totally,” I lied. They could understand if they found out right.

“Yay! Can Leslie and I come over? I want to see how miserable Sarah is without Alex!” she yelled in excitement

“No actually they’re leaving any minute now,” I explained.

“Then we better get there quick! I’ll call Leslie! See you in a few!” She said and hung up before I could say anything. Oh no…

I shut my eyes tight. I just sat there for a few minutes until I heard the doorbell ring.

“Olivia! It’s for you,” Austin shouted. I ran downstairs to get it and of course it was Leslie and Georgia. They smiled big and walked into the room. I smiled nervously at them and let them in.

"Well I better go guys," Alex said and left. I sighed with relief, he was finally gone. Sarah left too.

"Come on guys," I said and led them up to my room.

"So what happened there?" Georgia asked and sat down on my desk.

"Well they broke up of course and they found out my parents are dead," I mumbled.

"Did you tell them about Sarah? Because we can't do that until the end," Leslie explained.

"Yeah I know, I won't tell them yet don't worry," i reassured her.

"Ok good, but tomorrow at school I am hoping to see how miserable Sarah is and maybe she will sit at another table because she is so embarrassed," Leslie laughed.

"I think you might be surprised," I muttered under my breath.

"What?" Georgia asked.

"Nothing," I smiled and grabbed the picture off of my nightstand.

"Where's your watch?" Leslie panicked.

"It fell in the lake," I whispered sadly.

"Oh no, at least you still have the picture and the Gameboy," georgia said and patted ny back comfortably.

"So did anything happen with Rob?" Leslie asked with a big smile. Oh gosh. Yes something did happen, but if I told Leslie she would be heartbroken.

"No, nothing at all," I laughed nervously. Then I remember Sarah, and how one of them might've told anybody.

"Um did any of you happen to tell anyone about this?" I asked them and looked at them each in the eye.

"I would never tell anyone," Leslie said.

"Me neither," Georgia said.

"Why? Does someone know?" she asked. I shook my head.

"No, no one knows

I know this is a short chapter and a boring one but this is kind of like a filler chapter I guess, but in the next one there will be a LOT of drama so yeah. I will either update later or tonight :)
