And I think this story only has maybe 10 maybe more chapters left, but the end will kind of be a cliffhanger. And there WILL be a sequel :D

I was so shocked I didn’t say anything at first.

“Um, Sarah told me that you liked me, so I decided to you know tell you,” he laughed.

“Wow,” I whispered.

“She made me choose… you or her, and then I realized, if Sarah really cared about me she wouldn’t make me choose.”

“Wow,” I whispered again and almost laughed.

“So, Olivia Johnson, will you be my girlfriend?” he asked. I couldn’t trust my voice so I just nodded rapidly.

He sighed with relief.

“Good,” he smiled big, “but let’s just keep this between us, ok?”

“Why?”

“Because Sarah’s really mad right now… and you know.”

He didn’t to say anymore because I knew what he was trying to say. Sarah would get her revenge on me. But if she did then we would just be uneven again. Right now we’re almost even.

“I don’t care if she does something to me. I’m done with her. She can’t do anything to bring me down anymore,” I admitted with a smile.

“Are you sure?”

I thought about it… and then I realized that I wasn’t Sarah’s shadow anymore. I wasn’t going to do what she says anymore. And I’m going to stop being afraid of her. But I still needed to get that revenger on her, and you know what? There is nothing I can do to her that will make me forgive her for what she did. She can always get Alex back, but I can’t get my brothers back.

“I’m sure.”

“Let’s go downstairs,” he said and pulled my hand up but I didn’t move.

“Are you sure they aren’t mad at me?” I pouted.

“They’re not mad at you, they’re mad at Sarah, and Sarah isn’t down there, so come on,” he said and pulled my hand up. I walked down the stairs with him, and he quickly let go of my hand.

I saw everyone’s eyes turn towards me.

“How’d you get her to come down?” Austin asked. Alex smiled at me then shrugged.

“Look Olivia, we all wanted to say we’re sorry,” Rob announced and I sat down on the couch next to Alex, “You told us you didn’t like Sarah and we’re your friends so we should’ve stuck by you and we have all been jerks lately to you, and I’m really sorry.”

“I’m not, there’s nothing wrong with Sarah, there’s something wrong with you,” Zach protested.

“Stop acting like you’re all innocent Zach like you didn’t do anything to me,” I shouted and then he shut up.

“Look what we’re saying is, we’re going to make it up to you,” Tyler explained and smiled.

“We’re taking you to a real amusement park,” Austin smiled, “Since the last one didn’t really work out.”          

“It’s tomorrow after school and we are staying there until 9, so we have to work on our project tonight if we’re going to finish it,” Zach explained. I nodded. I was… speechless. Zach was finally talking to me, I stood up to Sarah, I’m dating Alex, and I’m friends with everyone. All in one day. Could this get ANY better?

“Thanks,” I laughed and smiled really big.

The only bad thing was that I lost my two other best friends. Leslie and Georgia. I still had Eddie right?

“And can you start sitting with us at lunch? It’s so boring without you,” Austin complained and I smiled.

“Yeah,” I responded happily. Everything was finally working out for me. It just took so long for it to finally happen. The day finally came…

“So are you guys like a thing now?” Tyler smirked at us. Alex and I looked at each other and then nodded.

“Oh my gosh! Finally! Alex you do not know how much Olivia talks about you! It’s so annoying!” Austin yelled and then I hit him.

Alex laughed. I sneaked over a look at Rob and he looked a little sad. I felt a little bad for him, but as long as I had Alex, I would never date him. Sorry if that sounds mean.

I sighed and leaned back on the couch.

“What do you guys want to do?” Alex asked.

“First, we can’t fully forgive you, Olivia, until you tell us what Sarah did to you and what you’re hiding from me,” Austin said and got serious. My smile faded.

“Austin, it’s personal,” I explained.

“We’re your friends, can’t you trust us?”

“Of course I can ok? Look guys it’s not that I think you’ll tell anyone it’s just that, I can’t say it,” I admitted and they all gave me blank looks.

“Please, I need to know,” Austin begged and gave me a pleading look. I didn’t know what to do. I wanted to tell them, but it wouldn’t come out no matter how hard I tried.

“You don’t need to know,” I exclaimed and he looked a little hurt.

“I’m sorry Austin, look, it’s just I don’t like telling anyone, even the people who are the closest to me.”

“Can you tell me a little bit? You don’t have to tell us everything, just tell us the part about Zach doing stuff to you,” Austin yelled and Zach’s face flushed.

“Make him tell you!” I protested.

“I don’t want to tell them!” he shouted.

“I don’t want to tell them either!” I shouted back.

“You know what? Let’s just not fight, and forget about this okay? I’m sick of the drama,” Rob yelled. I looked over at him and he looked really annoyed. I glanced away quickly and looked up at Austin.

“You got away this time Olivia, next time I will get it out of you,” Austin eyed me.

“That’s what you said last time,” I laughed.

“Well this time I mean it,” he smiled.

“Night Austin!” I yelled and ran up to my room to go to sleep. It was already 10 and it was a school night so I had to get to bed.

I walked into my room and got my superman pajamas on then got into bed.

I lied down in bed and stared up at the dark ceiling. After them trying to get the secret out of me, Zach and I worked on our project, and we are like halfway through it.

He was actually talking to me now. I couldn’t believe it. This day was too good to be true, which mad me kind of sad, because in movies every time something good happens, something bad happens to you. And I just knew something bad would happened to me. I just had to enjoy this while it lasted.

I laughed silently to myself remembering when I used to like him. I would sometimes follow him from school. Then Sarah took him, but I have to stop worrying about her.

She is out of my life now for good.

At least that’s what I thought.
