Chapter 33

“We’re here!” Mrs. Mahone shouted from up front.

Austin shot up quickly and ran out of the RV.

“Austin wait! I’m going to go on a hike up these hills, if you need anything just call me,” she said. Austin nodded.

“Ok have a good time!” she said. We all ran out of the RV and followed Austin. The good thing about today was that it was really hot.

It was pretty much like a beach. There were a lot of other people there too. Mostly teenagers.

“Aw Brooks, how about we get ourselves some girlfriends huh?” Andrew asked and elbowed Brooks. Brooks smiled.

“Hah I got ya,” Brooks said. They took off their shirts and went wandering off somewhere. I laughed. Middle school boys.

“Ok guys come on!” Rob yelled and took off his shirt. Chelsea starting staring at him. I hit her shoulder.

“Ow! What was that for?” she asked and rubbed her shoulder. I laughed.

“You’re staring,” I whispered and pointed to Robert. She blushed.

“It’s okay. I can be like your wingwomen. I think you two would be cute together,” I explained. Her face lit up.

“Really?” she beamed and I nodded. All of the other boys ripped off their shirts too and walked into the water.

“Yow! That’s cold!” Tyler and Alex yelled and ran out of the water. Everyone laughed at them.

“Shut up! Are you coming in Olivia?’ Alex asked and turned towards me. I shrugged.

“Oh come on!” Alex said, “It’s not even that cold.”

“Oh yeah because when you ran away from the water screaming I knew it wasn’t cold,” I said sarcastically.

“Pretty please,” he said and took my hand. He gave me his best puppy dog face.

“Come on Olivia, I’ll go in,” Chelsea said. I looked over at her and sighed.

“Fine, fine, I’ll go in,” I said and stood up.

I was wearing a red cover-up and my swimsuit was a yellow bikini (picture on the side. Olivia is the left one and Chelsea is the one on the right)

Chelsea took off her cover-up and ran into the water. I looked over at Robert and he was staring at her.

“Keep your mouth close Rob, you’ll catch flies,” I shouted to him and everyone laughed. He blushed hard.

I took off my cover-up and then walked into the water with Alex.

“It’s not cold,” I said to Alex. He shrugged.

“It was earlier,” he explained and I rolled my eyes.

“Hey guys look at that boat over there!” Zach said and pointed to a boat a few yards away from us.

“What about it?” I asked.

“There’s no one in it or near it,” Zach explained.

“Wait are you saying we should ride in it?” Austin asked.

“Yeah! Come on guys it will be fun!” Zach exclaimed.

“Zach if we get caught, they’ll call the police on us,” Chelsea informed him.

“Then… we won’t get caught. Are you in or out?” he asked.

“I’m in,” all of the boys said in unison. Chelsea and I looked at each other and shrugged.
