Chapter 32
“Olivia!” someone shouted.
“What?” I snapped as I opened my eyes.
“It’s time to wake up,” Austin said. I groaned.
“Whatever,” I grunted.
“Why are you acting so mean?” he asked and raised an eyebrow at me. I sighed and sat up.
“I’m sorry Austin, I’m just really tired,” I explained and he smirked at me.
“Because you stayed up all night with Alex. Why were you guys so late?” he asked and laughed. I smacked his shoulder.
“Because we did a lot of stuff,” I said. He just laughed.
“Really what did you guys do?” he asked.
“Um we ate dinner on the pier and just hung out in that area for a while and then he said he had to show me something and then we went somewhere and then the sprinklers came on and got us soaked so we had to go to his house and dry off and then he walked me home because he couldn’t drive,” I informed him and he nodded.
“Sounds like a fun date,” He and gave me a thumps up. I laughed.
“What time is it?” I asked.
“Let’s just say everyone is already downstairs,” Austin said and my eyes widened.
“AUSTIN! WHY DIDN’T YOU WAKE ME UP EARLIER?!” I yelled and shot out of bed. Austin started cracking up.
“Ya, I’m just kidding. It’s 9, they’ll be here at noon. You should’ve seen your face,” Austin laughed. I stuck my tongue out at him and smacked his shoulder.
“Dude! What do you have wrong with this shoulder?! You hit it every day! Ow! Hit it one more time and I think it might fall off,” he said and rubbed his shoulder.
“I better hit it again then,” I smirked and lunged at him but he dodged me and ran downstairs. I rolled my eyes and went into the bathroom and hopped into the shower.

“Olivia!” Austin shouted. I groaned and brushed my hair before walking out of the bathroom.
“Why do you always have to interrupt me huh?” I asked.
“Sorry, I just needed to ask you something. It’s really important,” he said and his face got serious.
“What is it? You can ask me anything Austin,” I said. He nodded.
“Do you like cheese on your sandwich?” he asked and looked up at me. I smacked his shoulder again.
“Ow!” he shouted.
“You said it was important!” I protested.
“Well yeah! It is! I mean what if you were allergic to cheese?” he yelled.
I smacked his shoulder again.
“Ow,” he whimpered.
“Yes, I like cheese on my sandwich,” I said calmly.
“Ok,” he cried and walked away.
I laughed and then looked back at my dresser where the picture was. It seemed like every day my past seemed to be fading away. I know this sounds weird but I kind of wish it didn’t fade away.
I would be able to forget about what Sarah did, but I can’t forget about my family.
I sighed and then walked downstairs to the living room.
