9. Run Jess

GOSH! Everyone I'm really sorry for making you all wait this long for a new chapter, but I've just forgotten about it kind of.... That's not a good excuse for me, I know, and I'm so SORRY! BUT HERE IS THE CHAPTER OF YOUR LIFE! Sorry it's kind of short.... TADA! THANKS TO EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU READING THIS STORY! I LOVE YOU ALL!!!! <3

I held my pillow tightly as I took a new step towards the doors to the balcony. What was he doing here? How did he dare showing his face up here? Uh, I can’t believe he only came for me. Okay, seriously I wanted to just hug him and hit him down at the same time.

“Jess, I needed to see you”, his voice spoke. It was cold and the wind was blowing my hair to the side. I looked over at my right meeting his dark eyes. He looked horrible, but so amazing. His hair was standing in every direction, as his eyes were red and dark inside. His hands were covered with scratches and blood marks trailing over his cheek.

“Jason”, I breathed out shocked. What did he do to himself?

“Look Jess. I was never supposed to give you away. I just couldn’t, because I had a deal with Fernando”, he said clear. I shook my head in disbelieve. I knew he didn’t know what to do, but come on. He shouldn’t give me away.

“I seriously can’t go day without thinking about you”, he said serious. It was only five days that had passed. Okay, I thought about him as well those five days.

“Can you ever forgive me”, he asked. Forgive him? For leaving me? He said he couldn’t stop thinking of me. Did he really say that out loud to me?

“You can’t stop thinking about me”, I asked, forgetting about the question he asked about me forgiving him.

“Yes, and I seriously can’t go without you. My mind is only referring to you the whole time. Is she safe? Is she still that happy, weird girl as always”. He let out a little chuckle and walked closer to me. The space between us was only for air, but our bodies nearly touched.

“You have changed me already and the other boys as well. We all miss you loads”. He was all sensitive and that was a side of Jason I had never seen.

“What are you supposed to do? Kidnap me away from here? What about Fernando? He will understand it at once”, I said while my voice was trembling. I didn’t want this life. I wanted the boys back, but still I wanted my best friend and my family back. They were so important to me.

“You have to wait some days and I’ll figure out something”. Those were the last words before Jason jumped down from the balcony and into the darkness.

Four days had passed and Fernando was keeping a closer eye on me all the time. He came into the room, or anyone else as Alex, every thirty minute. I was just happy as no one of them touched me yet. Fernando always tucked my hair behind my ear for some reason saying how pretty I was. Yuck!

It was evening and I sat in my room doing nothing as always. The only thing I could do was listen to music by an old iPod Alex gave me and watch a movie. Yay, the fun in the things I did while being here. I could rather go to school, like seriously.

Suddenly I heard small stones were thrown at the balcony into the window and a shadow was shown. I stood up from the bed and saw Jason standing into the balcony door. He pressed his hands upwards and looked at me with a passionate look. I walked towards him pressing my hand upwards the door as well looking him into the eyes. I opened the door slowly as holding the eye contact with Jason. As I opened the door I heard sounds from someone talking.

“I’m going upstairs to check at her”, I heard Fernando’s voice say. I hurried up with opening the door and Jason understood everything at that moment. He took my hand and glided my through the door to the end of the balcony. He pointed downwards and I understand what we both needed to do. I had to climb down in a hurry, climb over the tree and jump over as I did before and run to his car outside in the woods one place. Jason saw the struggle in my body and took my over his shoulders as he carried me. He climbed over the fence on the balcony and downwards to the ground.

“I’ve got you beautiful”, he whispered. Everything he did or said made me feel so safe. The time was nearly stopping and it made me relax. Jason reached the ground and ran across to the tree and began climbing upwards.

“You need to jump down yourself. Don’t get hurt again”, he said as he reached the top. How did he do it so quickly? He put me down on one branch and looked so protective on me. My whole body was shaking as I heard swearing from Fernando. He had reached my room. I needed to do this quickly for the sake of mine and Jason’s. Before I could even do anything else, Jason grabbed me by my waist and jumped down from the tree over the big fence. I wanted to scream, but nothing came out of my mouth. The air was cold, but the touch of Jason made me feel so warm.

We landed on the ground as Jason looked behind him as I kept my body still.

“We need to go now, Jess” his voice said making me realize that Fernando had seen Jason. The world around me was slowly turning and as Jason and me began running, I looked behind me meeting Fernando’s gaze at us as we ran out in the darkness to the forest.
