I Need A Hero {Peter Quill}

Chapter 7

They had sort of a crash landing. Once they made it out of the watchtower, they immediately went looking for their clothes. Peter and Gwen on the other hand, went to the window and started looking for their ship.

"Yeah! There it is. Get our ship. It's the Milano, the orange and blue one over in the corner" Peter said. Peter grabbed Gwen's hand and went to get their belongings. Peter grabbed Gwen's trunk of clothes and gave it to her. She opened it and gathered her clothes. Peter was still digging through his.

"The Orb is there Peter. Let's go" Gwen said

"That bastard didn't put it back" Peter said. Gwen knew immediately what Peter was talking about it.

"If you're going back for it, let me go with you" Gwen asked

"No. Get them to the ship. I will be right back" Peter said

"Peter..." Gwen said

"Just keep the Milano close by" Peter said. Peter kissed Gwen's forehead before running off. She started making her way to the ship, running into Gamora on the way.

"Where is Quill?" Gamora asked

"He'll be right back but right now I've been given orders to take you all to the ship" Gwen said

"That's rather odd. A princess receiving orders rather than giving them" Gamora said

"Why are you calling me a princess?" Gwen asked

"I'll explain once we're on the ship" Gamora said

Once on the ship, Gwen gave orders to Rocket to keep the ship close by and went into her room to change. When Gwen left her room, she ran into Gamora.

"Hey" Gwen said

"I promised you an explanation, your highness" Gamora said

"Ah, yes. Just come into my room" Gwen said. Gamora followed Gwen into her room. Gwen sat on her bed while Gamora stood in front of her.

"Are you going to sit down or-" Gwen started but was interrupted

"You're the long lost Kosmonian princess" Gamora said

"Gamora, I know I'm Kosmonian but there is no way I'm a princess" Gwen said

"But you are. I even know who your parents are" Gamora said.

"But I thought my planet was gone and I was the last of my race" Gwen said

"That's not true. Thanos tried to destroy your planet but your people were to strong for him. When he gave up his attack, your people went into hiding and my people spread the message that your planet was gone. That is before my people were wiped out from existence" Gamora said

"I'm so sorry Gamora" Gwen said

"That's not important right now. Your parents sent me with a task to find you and bring you to them. That's why after we sell the orb, I'm bringing you to them" Gamora said.

"Gamora, wait-" Gwen started but Gamora left before Gwen could finish her sentence. Gwen laid down on her bed and ran her fingers through her hair. Gwen was about to close her eyes and try to sleep but she heard Gamora and Rocket bickering. She groaned and sat up. She got out of her room and joined Gamora, Rocket and Drax.

"What is going on here?" Gwen asked

"You're boyfriend is taking too long. I say we just fly off and leave him" Rocket said

"He has the orb!" Gamora said. Gwen was about to lose it when she saw Peter flying back to the ship. 'Thank God he's okay' Gwen said. Gwen and Drax went to go and let Peter in.
