Gwen tried falling asleep but she couldn't. She just stared at the purple ceiling, thinking about her friends. She didn't want them to die. Gwen was sure Rocket would come up with a full proof plan, and she trusted him. Rocket's plans never seem to fail. He did get her and the others out of prison after all. She was so lost in thought, she didn't even hear her door open.

"Gwen?" Peter's voice rang in her ears. She sat up on the bed and noticed that Peter was dressed in a pair of sweatpants, and no shirt. The sight made her blush a bit.

"Yeah?"

"I couldn't help but worry about you"

"I'm fine Peter. I'm just hoping Rocket comes up with a plan"

"You know he will, and it's going to make your parents feel like dumbasses afterwards" Gwen couldn't help but giggle at Peter's words.

"Do you think you could stay with me tonight? I'm finding it kind of hard to sleep" she spoke. Peter closed her door before joining her on the bed, and he brought her into his arms. She let her head rest on his chest.

"Peter, I don't want you to die. Not Gamora, not Drax, not Rocket"

"We're not gonna" Peter assured her. Gwen tilted her head so that she was looking at him. He made the first move and pressed his lips to hers. Gwen kissed him back, and the two of them let gravity lay them on the bed. Peter's fingers found their way under the thin straps of Gwen's silk nightgown. He slipped the straps off her shoulders, and soon the rest of her nightgown followed. They shared their first night of passion together.

Quentin was up later than he usually was but that was because his mind was preoccupied. He had walked past Gwen's room when he heard noises coming from inside. He pressed his ear against the door and recognised them as moans. And he knew the exact two people they were coming from.

"Peter..." Quentin heard Gwen's soft and angelic voice cry in pleasure. This angered him immensely. Gwen was supposed to be his wife! Why on Kosmo would she have fallen in love with a Terran anyways!? It took all his willpower not to burst through the door and kill the disgusting Terran. Instead, he went to the Royal Chambers to speak with his beloved King and Queen.

"You're saying our daughter is mating with the Terran right now?" Ophelia spoke in an astonished tone.

"It's disgusting! Gwendalyn is my wife! She has no right to do this!" Quentin yelled angrily.

"She's not your wife yet, my dear boy" Xavier spoke.

"But she is betrothed to him. Our dear Gwendalyn is to only mate with her beloved husband and have pure children. Now we have chances of having filthy mixed grandchildren. It's even more disgraceful and disgusting if they're half Terran" Ophelia said.

"Why did you send her to Terra if you hate it so much?" Quentin asked

"It was the only safe place for her at the time. I would have sent her to the home of the Zehoberei people, but Thanos had destroyed it. I wouldn't have sent her there if I had known she was going to fall in love with a Terran" Ophelia said

"Tomorrow, I want to be the one to kill the Terran" Quentin said.

"And you will be, I promise. I will be the one to kill the others. Xavier, you are to keep an eye on our daughter and make sure she doesn't do anything to interfere. During dinner, they're glasses will be filled with a poison. It won't kill them but it will make them weak, giving us the perfect opportunity to attack" Ophelia said.

"Your majesty, this plan is perfect. Nothing can possibly go wrong" Quentin said proudly. That would be true, only if a certain raccoon and tiny tree hadn't been taking a late night stroll, and overheard everything.
