Sometimes things can't always stay quite so happy forever.

"I don't understand why you're getting so bothered about where I am all the time?" Aria asked as she pulled off her shoes. The overwhelming feeling of being treated like a child began to hit her. Ezra was the only one who treated her like the mature young woman she was yet now it felt like she had been taken back to the start, no trust whatsoever. The only thing she'd done was go out with Spencer and Hanna for a few drinks before heading back to Spencer's house, it wasn't even like she was out at a club all night. When Aria didn't reply for a while Ezra made it his mission to hunt the girl down and see if she was okay.

"I just want to know you're alright okay? It's late, I was worried." Ezra began as he took off his jacket, droplets of rain falling down and hitting the floor. He was drenched from head to toe. "I didn't realise that was such a big thing. I thought you'd be thanking me, you could have been dead in an alley for all I know."

"Or in a coma? Even if that was the truth you probably wouldn't have come looking for me then." The girl sighed as she throwed her back on the table trying to get her hair romotely dry at least. She regretted her words but it was embarrasing for her, being surrounded by friends when your boyfriend has to come up and check on you.

Ezra on the other hand just paused and looked over to Aria feeling hurt at the least, he took a deep breath and just walked over to the girl and looked down at her not understanding where all of this was coming from. He had only ever done what he thought was right, what was the best for Aria. It was like a dagger had just been plunged into his chest. "Well I'm sorry."

"I didn't mean that, I-" Aria took her lovers hands and just frowned slightly not knowing how to say how she was feeling. Tiredness began to affect what she was saying, she didn't want a fight right now the main reason of that being that she was the one who was mostly in the wrong. "I love you. More than anything and nothing will ever change that but you just need to trust me. I'm not a little girl anymore. I can look after myself." She pushed the overhanging hair off Ezra's face, and placed a soft kiss on his cheek before smiling a little. "I love you Ezra." It was hard for Ezra to feel any emotion that wasn't affection for Aria as soon as he lost himself in her eyes.

Aria pulled off her jacket beginning to shake slightly at how cold she was after the storm of rain that had hit them on the way home. As Ezra wrapped his arms round the small girl he couldn't help but notice something that made him smile.

"I got you that necklace." He said with a small chuckle, Aria just rolled her eyes and looked down to it. "Yeah, I do usually wear it every day, lovely how you've just noticed."

The room began to grow a little warmer as Ezra sat slouched over the couch holding a glass of whiskey Aria had been in the other room for a while and Ezra wouldn't have noticed her walk back in except his record player had been turned on.

"B26." He couldn't help but smile every memory of the pair went along with this song. Aria walked round and placed her hand out to Ezra, "we have unfinished business". She said as she pulled the man up close to her, slowly placing her head against his chest letting him hold her hand in his. The pair just moved round the apartment to the music holding eachother close and becoming lost in the other. Time passes so quickly and as soon as it reached 1am Ezra was carrying Aria bridal style to bed.
