10:36pm

"Since you left this place has changed...a lot." Aria paced round The Brew looking at all the differences. "The new owner sure wanted a makeover."
"I know...It's not my problem anymore though." Ezra took a seat on one of the sofas watching the girl with slight admiration.
"You know, we can sit here and just do nothing or we could sort through our problems and get it all out in the open."
"I chose to sit here." Ezra ran his fingers through his hair as Aria just let out a sigh pulling off her jacket and trying to get comfortable as she fixed her dress.
"Why don't we just-"
"No."
"Ezra come on-"
"No."
Being stubborn was like second nature to Ezra, especially when it came to Aria. He could go for days without spilling any information on why he was slightly off.
"I bet I can make you talk."
Aria looked at the man, a glimmer in her eyes as she took a seat opposite the man.
"I agree to that bet."

For the next 20 minutes Ezra said nothing at all and Aria tried so desperately to get Ezra to spill his feelings. But he didn't.

10:56pm

"Okay. This is the cd we had at my prom and every single song from the night is on this disc. I know the song that we slow danced to that night and I remember exactly which song you hated. Coldplay, you hate the band. I'm not stupid Ezra, I know every single thing about you it's stored like a memory on a hard drive so instead I will play this song and you can listen to it until you speak."
Aria blasted the song, Ezra's face beginning to turn slightly red as he finally after a minute or so stood up.
"Okay stop!" He shouted and Aria just turned it off feeling quite shocked at his response.
"I will speak with you for 2 minutes. That's it."
"Good."

11:01pm

"Okay go." Ezra said as he set the timer off on his watch. "What do you want to talk about?"
"Oh come on Ezra, we've been off and on for the past I don't know how many years. What has happened to us?" I've sorted it out in my head. Since I graduated we have seen each other less and less. I understand that we both went our separate ways but something about it was strange. No matter how far we went away from each other we'd always come back and the spark would still be there. What happened last week for you to lose that spark you saw in me?"
"That is not the whole story."
"What do you mean that's not the whole story?"
"I mean what I just said that's not the whole story..."
Ezra's phone beeped.
"Sorry times up."
"No, Ezra."
He was already walking up to the apartment above the brew that he still had a spare key to, it was empty and so he walked in closing the door behind him letting it slam in Aria's face.
"Ezra please."
