Ezra waited in the hospital waiting room feeling a sense of deja vu. The last time Ezra had to wait to see Aria in one of those rooms his whole world was taken away from him, what was going to be behind the door this time. As soon as Aria was stable, she asked for Spencer to see her.

Spencer walked through the door to see Aria looking paler than usual. That was the only thing that looked different about her.
"How are you keeping up?" Spencer asked as she took a seat beside the bed.
"I...I'm fine."
Being this close to Aria you could see the actual differences of her now to her usual self. Her eyes were red and swollen, her fingers cut open, her neck left with deep bruises left by somebody's hands.
"Aria, you can speak to me. What happened?"
Spencer ran her hand over to Aria's yet she pulled it away quickly. Aria didn't want to be touched, the only reason she wanted Spencer in here was because she couldn't break the news to Ezra at this moment in time. She couldn't get her head around it herself. Aria's world was turned upside down and now she had to act like everything was okay.
"I can't Spencer...I can't." She leaned her head back on the pillow below her, feeling the pain gradually getting worse as the painkillers began to wear off.
"Did you see the person?"
Aria shook her head, she didn't want to talk about what had happened. She knew she would have to in time but now it was too fresh. The scarring was too deep.
"I can't even remember much of what happened Spencer."
There was a brief silence as Aria sat up trying to look out of the window to the waiting room.
"Is he here?"
"You're referring to Ezra?"
"Obviously." Aria glared slightly to Spencer, she wasn't in the mood for stupid questions she just needed answers. Why was this all of a sudden happening again? For so many months now -A had been gone but suddenly they're back, and they're coming for Aria?
"He was the one who found you. He called me after he brought you here."
Aria bit down on her lip and soon enough she was in tears. The salted water from her eyes was falling so quickly it was unbelievable and Aria felt as if she couldn't breathe.
Of course Spencer was trying to calm her down but nothing seemed to be working.
"Aria please- you have to tell me what's wrong?"
"I've lost the baby."
