A month has passed and Aria and Ezra have moved far away from each others lives. They no longer saw each other, they didn't even speak. For Aria, she knew this was the right idea but it was killing Ezra.
Aria had been offered a job in L.A, somebody interested in some of her work. Of course she was going to take it, out of everything bad that had happened this was the first lost of good news.
All the girls had planned Aria a going away party, she was going to be leaving in the next few weeks so they wanted to make sure they had a proper chance to say goodbye.
Things finally felt okay and as Aria tucked herself into bed she had a smile on her face.
That was until her phone went off. Ezra.
The girl swallowed and just ignored it but soon enough there was a voicemail left on her phone. She wanted to see what he had to say, how he was going to beg so she rang to listen to the message.
''...Hi Aria. I have been contemplating making this call for a long time now but I just haven't been able to. I heard you're leaving. I'm proud of you, I knew you would make such an impact on this world like you did on my life. I guess I wanted to know if you wanted to meet for coffee or something? I understand if you say no but I need to see your face Aria. I can't let you go without speaking to you directly. I know I have done such horrible things and I would hate me too but...We have had so many memories Aria you can't just throw those all away that easy. We can make it through this. I love you Aria. I know deep down you love me too."
Aria had to stop herself from throwing her phone, it hurt hearing his voice let alone the words he had to say. Soon enough her eyes were filling but it wasn't out of sadness but out of rage. For this long now Aria had hated the man but she just remembered that she used to love him. The man who ruined her life but saved it at the same time. She couldn't forgive him but she couldn't go on with this burning hatred inside of her. She wiped her eyes and placed her phone down trying to get some sleep.
