Spencer had already left the house long before Aria was awake and when she felt an overwhelming hunger beginning to make nausea hit her she decided to go downstairs to get something to eat. It had been a week since Aria had stopped at Spencer's and for the first time she turned on her phone.
42 missed calls - Ezra
72 text messages - Ezra
29 voicemails - Ezra
The girl didn't even bother to read them, the thought of him apologising over and over again only increased her nausea. As she rubbed her head she began to head downstairs thinking that the house was empty, which it was not.
"Aria?" Mrs Hastings called out as she looked at the stairs, Aria squinted slightly and nodded as she walked over to the kitchen counter.
"Good morning."
"Afternoon." Spencer's mother looked at Aria and all she could do was worry.
"Aria, I don't mean this in a horrible way but you do look horrible."
Aria took a seat, her head throbbing and soon enough she was going to vomit up her guts.
"I just..." She tried to speak but she was so tired even though every second she had spent sleeping.
"I don't feel very well." Was all she could get out, Veronica was quick enough to begin to make the girl something to eat. Aria was rocking back and forwards on her chair, her face growing more grey by the second.
"Do you want to talk about it?"
"Why I feel unwell?"
"Why you've been stopping here, I am perfectly fine with it happening I'd just like to know if it's something serious. Your mother always told me to ring her if something happened."
"My boyfriend broke my heart, I have lost everything I ever believed in and I can't get out of bed without crying."
Aria's fingers ran over the table, the whole memory of what happened was killing her and the thought that she actually loved him hurt even more. Since last week, Aria had only thought about how much she hated the man and now the thought that she actually loved Ezra was like poison to her mind.
"I'm in a rush so toast is all I have to offer." Mrs Hastings said as she pushed over the plate. "I'm sorry to hear about what's happened Aria but one day you will get over it."
"I don't see that happening any time soon."
Aria began to eat feeling even more sick so instead she stood up heading for the toilet. Everything began to spin and Aria quickly grabbed on to the table.
"Aria?"
Suddenly, everything turned black and Aria fell to the floor.
