Today felt good. Cassi took me to see a therapist by the name of Dr.Lauren. He was a short Hawaiian man with many wrinkles.

He only wore a blue polo and some khaki shorts and flip flops.

We talked for an hour. Just about things, getting to know one another. It was good to talk to someone.

We talked a little about my mom about my depression and treatment options for it.

I liked him. He seemed to be a genuinely nice guy, his off ice wasn't too fancy and he had a very humble way about himself.

After my session, Cassi took me to lunch at Tahiti Nui.

"So, are you feeling a little better?" Cassi asked.

"Yeah much." I told her, popping a fri into my mouth.

"That's good. So do you think I can still go tonight?" She asked cautiously.

I looked at her. "Yeah I guess."

"Okay good, tonight is your dad's gala for the Eastern European partners and I'm glad to have you come with me just cause you know, it's gets pretty boring." She gave me a look of gratitude.

I sighed, I really didn't want to go, I wasn't that much better. But I could tell Cassi really wanted me to.

She continued to eat her pasta and I dug into my chicken.

We finished and left for home where Cassi parked us in the garage.

"I already bought you a dress." She reached into the trunk and pulled out a Calvin Klein dress bag.

"Cassi." I smiled at her. She giggled. "You'll love it, it's a classic dress, there's a perfect pair of gold heels already in your closet that'll match this jewelry set." She handed me two jewelry boxes

I headed up to my room and hung the dress on my closet door and pulled out the pair of heels Cassi had suggested.

"We have to leave in about three hours, why don't you start getting ready and I'll call Mitch to bring out the fancy car!" She giggled looking excited.

I went to the mirror pulling down my straightened hair and wondering what to do with it.

It was pretty hot today, and was supposed to be super warm tonight so I decided to wrap it up into a bun. It took shot 45 minutes and 20 million tries to get it to look the way I wanted. Strands of hair fell out fashionably and I liked it's style.

I started applying some natural make up with some silvery lip gloss. It took me a while to find the right foundation and concealer. When I got to the mascara I blinked and totally messed up one of my eyes having to take 10 minutes to clean it and then having to do my eyeliner again and reapply the mascara.
